I feel like Pippa doesn't get that whoever completes a hand first wins. Pippa just always throw out whatever tile is less likely to make triplet or sequence, unless it's late in round and you're not close to a complete, then throw out whatever is closest to the other players discards. You'll at least not be last very often even if you have shit luck..
She needs to learn the bitch basics before playing randomly and hoping chat can carry her. That last hand was just a Yaku wind and a Dora and she couldn't even comprehend that because she is again refusing to understand anything. Doesn't help she has some very odd 'rules' stuck in her head like thinking the numbers mean much of anything outside of making your triplets/sequences.
Edit: this hand is a good example, has 3 pairs with one being a Yaku, just Pon shit and take either an open all Triples or just a Dragon at worst
