I get that but for the most part I can't display them for lack of space. I have about 8 bootlegs and I preordered 2 real figures. Recently I did buy some display cases.

I had a Gunpla phase and those are fun but I haven't been able to build them for more than a year (moved to a temp house and everything is still in boxes). Once I put some lights on the display cases I will unpack my gunpla. I have painted and detailed about 4 of them (I have about 30). Those are a bit more satisfying than the figures as they are posable and you can customize them.

So do you get a huge hit of joy when you first get/open the item? Do you continue enjoying it long term when you look at it from time to time?

Nothing wrong with this. I have an absolutely massive Plex server I’ve been working on for years. When higher quality films and shows come out (1080p to replace the 480p content and 4k to replace the 1080p content). I have eight 12tb HDD and countless smaller drives of TV shows and Films.

I literally have a fire hazard in my office.
