This is something I've noticed with a lot of the people who've taken to gender/queer theory: they seemingly have no understanding of self - similar to the middle/high school search for identity. I wonder, how many are attaching themselves to it as a continuation? It'd make sense for the younger generation to be so lost, especially with the death of culture today, but for people who were in their 20s when the poison hit, I'm having trouble explaining it.

So many people being taken after the teenage years is bizarre. If it's all born out of an absence of meaning, then that is a really bad sign.

Weirds me out that the return of traditional religion may be the only way to save so many people, and civilization itself.

The middle class/working class divide on family planning goes back centuries. You'll find all sorts of old literature featuring wealthy spinsters gasping in shock that miner's wives dare to have children on such a poor salary. Yes it is expensive to have children, but the scale of it is heavily overstated to the point of just over-indulging the middle class' tendency for neuroticism. Women have been having children in far worse financial, cultural, and physical conditions than most first world women can concieve of all throughout history, and still do around the world. It'll be fine if you just calm down and stop letting paranoia paralyse you into inaction.
