Who hurt you so bad you can't give people even a little trust. The talents are witness to the best and worst of the Corpo I'm inclined to trust them unless they give me reason to doubt there are a million minor factors that go into determining if they might be willing to lie but in general people don't lie without reason it's just how people are.

In Amalees case, there's not distinction between Monarch and her which is where the sentiment that she should no longer be considered an "actual" vtuber comes from I'm guessing.

My man, AmaLee's online handle is literally FirstnameLastname, I don't think not posting her face really would've made much difference.

It's honestly crazy that they've just been slowly pushing this date forwards with no explanation, seems like Niji has gotten 0 complaints or pushback about it so I guess it doesn't matter. I've been using twitter a lot more lately (disgusting I know) and there's something I've been seeing that's got me wondering does being a Vtweeter actually work? Like has anyone actually managed to transfer their twitter followers to stream watchers succefully because I've seen several vtubers with almost or more than 100k followers on Twitter yet struggle to get more than 500 views on their vods

They are better equipped to deceive you than anyone else in the industry, because they are already engaged in a consensual act of deception simply by being an actor. That's why it's called Willing Suspension of Disbelief, also known as Poetic Faith. It is sensible to want more than just their word, no matter how sincerely they speak it, and it is never wrong to consider additional details that add context and perspective to what they say.
