You're right, they don't need any new vtubers, they have plenty.
What Brave should be doing right now is a thorough restructuring to ensure that each entity is in its proper place in the corporate structure and reassign each of their vtubers to the appropriate subentity where they best fit.

I've long had the feeling that the huge Brave acquisition spree of all these disparate microcorpos was more about harvesting subscriber data and analyzing their spending/buying habits - it's a tried & tested Silicon Valley start-up playbook. They'll keep the myriad of operations running as long as they can and as long as their cash runway allows but regular pruning will happen as they start consolidating more data and trying to cut costs/expenditures.
