Are you sure its Cover? As far as I remember, what I know about it is that Calli and her manager is present on-site on the Trash Taste's office.

I don't believe that Cover is like, asking the podcast episodes to them and cut off what they dont like, but I do believe the manager is there just in case it was needed.

Besides, why would Cover need to be the one that cut it out the part they didnt like? Its not like the podcast is sponsored by them anyway, and the boys have their friends/work partners that can do it for the show with Calli/her manager could just say which one to excise

It's pretty standard practice for an idol company really, scan footage first. Just to be safe.
And again, I'm pretty sure hololive provided the technology and animated Calli themselves. She was post-edited onto the footage. It wasnt a livestream.

Mumei (and Promise overall) had an anniversary stream after the events, and Mumei had her Birthday Live instead of needing to deal with Breaking Dimensions;

And no shit a company is going to run cost analysis and fuck one talent over compared to 15 others. If that happens, they should be prepared for that one talent to leave for greener pastures, which Fauna did. Not sure why that's so controversial to say that Fauna may have had the slightest justification in leaving, but whatever.

Anniversary are not free. Birthday lives are not free. They actually cost alot of money. That's a company wide policy. Fauna has spoken many times that she don't want to do a 3D live because she doesn't want to fork out the money. There is also a lot of organization and stress going behind the scene with a 3D live that it is a lot easier to ... just not do them. Even if ENRECO/Breaking Dimensions didn't happen she wouldn't do a 3D live.
You are assuming Irys/Kronii/Bae/Fauna wanted to do a hololive anniversary 3D. They didn't. Bae concentrated all her efforts on her Birthday 3D. Don't remember if Irys held one. Kronii/Fauna never was interested.

Also just because Breaking Dimension happened on August 25th, doesn't mean her stream on August 22 is getting overshadowed and getting less viewers.
Petra? (Or one of nijisanjiEN i dont remember) literally scheduled her 3D 30 minutes before Breaking Dimension and it didn't really matter. One of the biggest nijiEN 3D in the last 8 months.

The timeline being so close just mean she have to prepare for the stream earlier. That's it. Like 2 weeks beforehand instead of 1.

Not free, and yet she chose to do an anniversary stream and an associated merch drop, which just happened to be overshadowed by company wide events, all of which would require preparation on her end, and there's literally nothing about that that could feasibly annoy a talent to you? And there have been multiple talents in the past (Kiara 100%, almost certain Irys has as well) mentioning that they often wait on things to clear on management's end for events and merch before they can do things on their end, this is not new information.

While Hololive/Cover is providing the tech, Calli still has to be in the same room as the trio during the podcast recording*. It's why on both episode she appeared in (more pronounced in the first episode she's in) Garnt barely moves around his spot or do any of the gesturing because Demondice/Karen is right beside him and he could fuck up the greenscreen setup that she is sitting behind if he going apeshit. (I know this was mentioned somewhere by calli on her streams but I might be wrong).

And yes, her manager is there, because there's a clip in the podcast Calli first appearing in where the trio acknowledge their present, specifically said manager not amused that Joey the australian man has less computer knowledge than the staff.

what and why are you even arguing here. Im genuinely confused, are you agreeing or disagreeing with me? Who do you think added Calli the vtuber onto the green screen? Joey the cameraman?

All I said is that Cover likely reviewed the footage. Like they always do with handcams content to check for reflections. The manager could themselves be issued full permission to review it alone, but more than likely some tech guy at Cover probs sat through the whole thing to animate Calli anyway because Cover provided the technology.

I don't think it happen to vtubers only, it's normal for flesh idols/celebs company to ask podcast host/interviewer to cross-examine the footage for review in case something weird get in or the person said things they are not supposed to.
