I must unironically ask: Do you actually like vtubers? You seem to vehemently HATE everything that makes vtubers... vtubers. I think you'd prefer twitch streamers.
It's like you came to the neighborhood barbecue and you take issue with it being outside, using a grill and there being mostly meat... no shit, that's kind of what makes it what it is.

You're the guy who plays nonstop dad rock at the barbecue and when someone wants to put on something different you say they "don't like real music". I like plenty of vtubers, including some that are in the particular corner that you like and some that aren't, you're the one who's taking issue with anyone who doesn't vtube exactly the way you want. I like chika idols, takarazuka, and anime. Even the kind of vtubing I don't like, I'm generally indifferent to - the only parts I outright hate are a) anonymous political agitation b) corporations exploiting their workers (and I guess c) misery porn, but even then I don't really care as long as it's not in my face). I don't think either of those is some kind of essential soul of vtubing.

I mean like Ironmouse or Airi where so much of their content is just about how tragic their life is and people become fans out of pity. Not something I enjoy in my entertainment, if someone's life is miserable then I hope things get better for them but it's not something I'm going to watch for fun.
