I assume it's mostly people who have never actually used it because I admit hearing it was a "doxx site" made it seem scarier (though I have yet to see anyone doxxed here...) than somewhere like reddit. Unironically I think this site probably has the most friendly userbase for VTuber discussion unless you're one of those people (and I use the term loosely) who can't tolerate wrongthink or no-no words. I've certainly seen/experienced far more toxicity and genuine hate on reddit/X/4chan/wherever else at least. Maybe I'm wrong though and Proctor and his jannies have my IP ready to leak as soon as I make a negative comment towards Kirsche...

And then there is this. even worse is that tumblr died in like 3 waves so they went everywhere and fought eachother over what actually killed the site. that time it died for like 8 hours and people lost their shit the porn ban or the 3rd impact from all their fuckbuddies flocking to other sites.

It feels like we’re getting a bad rap just for having a bit of an association with the homelands, while also not being under their control. But if you've noticed, the Reddit types don’t hate the stuff we do here; they just hate that we sometimes include people they'd consider 'protected.' Remember, the only reason they went after Uki was because of the Niji situation. They were perfectly fine with him before, acting like his bouts of racism against white people were just jokes when the company was on their good side. And don’t forget, just because these people are agreeing with us on some things, that they were NijiSisters up until last year. The only reason they’re tangentially on our side is because their favorite streamer got screwed over.

Closest that's happened to that was the discussion of the phase doxes a fresh homelands account dropped in the vtuber thread there. Also we openly talk about past lives, including irl stuff if it is known, which used to be considered 'doxing' by some (admittedly nowhere near as taboo in the western vtuber sphere as it used to be).

Most people in /vt/'s interactions with TVA is with the groomcord.
