Can you name one serious huge forum drama that has ever came out of that thread? No, the only thing that comes out of it are fan websites and cookbooks.

To you, there's a separation between the TVA website and the groomcord, to the average 4channers there's none.

Any negative reputation ascribed to the thread is based on memes and hearsay; we just livepost during streams, document Pippa-adjacent schizos, and talk about how six million wasn't nearly enough.

Closest that's happened to that was the discussion of the phase doxes a fresh homelands account dropped in the vtuber thread there. Also we openly talk about past lives, including irl stuff if it is known, which used to be considered 'doxing' by some (admittedly nowhere near as taboo in the western vtuber sphere as it used to be).

While I would not put moral grandstanding past any redditor, /r/VirtualYoutubers has always allowed past lives discussion and the definition of 'doxxing' in their rules is more or less identical to the one used here (IRL info that was never publicly posted, yes they use two x's)

For people in the know or who might lurk here, I'm certain it's the homelands rep that affects TVA the most. But for your average random on reddit or 4chan I don't think they even have anything more than a vague impression bereft of any specifics.
