Western vtubing is in a huge rat race to get 0.5 microseconds of attention and clout and the best way to get your post shared around and liked is to be raunchy/degenerate, so vtubers have taken to trying to one-up each other in the disgusting whore department to attract the coomers and the simps.

You can blame vshojo and the flanderization of Hololive memes, and more recently phase too.
