Imagine having a bunch of friends at a corpo you've just left and making their lives more difficult and more drama-filled (oh, and potentially reducing their income) just because there isn't a law against it.
The narrative writing in Stranger of Paradise was really quite awful and I don't know how much of that to attribute to the fucked up butchered premature release the game got, but the dialogue writing was gourmet ham roasted by campfire.
We need more serious IPs taken for a ride in the clowncar with a straight face, now more than ever. We have plenty of memey youtube bait simulators that are the clown; what we need is more straight-faced over-the-top games like DMC3 and I'm sure streamers would appreciate them, too.
How? How exactly it could impact other talents in either corpo? Especially financially.

Ok, devil's advocate here, but why would any of that happen just because someone redebuted today instead of six months from now? What's the drama? How would it make the old genmates lives difficult for you to be working under a new name elswhere, when generally corpo vtubers don't interact with reincarnations anyways? The new persona officially has zero ties to the old company, you're hardly losing out on opportunities you've already forgone by leaving in the first place, and if a corp is really so threatened by one more unaffiliated vtuber on the scene they have bigger issues to worry about. The vtuber-roommate distinction doesn't work just one way for the corps benefit.

I actually agree with Tourist here. I dont see breaking non-competes lose you anything. Streaming is an industry operated by clout. As long as you have clout it doesn't really matter. See VShojo recruiting mikeneko after knowing she breaks NDA and shit.
And didnt Kuro joins vshojo only a few months after and now Sakura Aoi is making her own corpo. I dont think Niji really has non-competes written into their contract in the first place.
We also saw a template contract from niji which dont include the non-compete clauses.
All of this talk stemmed from "mint is going to join phase/vshojo because non-competes are one year" has no legs to stand on other than pure copium.
if she really were to join a random corpo it has nothing to do with non-competes.

I'm not promoting Vshojo here, just to be clear, so much as pushing back against this annoying habit of people trying to twist Fauna's reasons for graduating into anything other than what she explicitly stated was the cause (disagreements with Cover management). You don't need to be an apologist to put together why people across the community have been discussing both talking points together lately.

3 years ago kanata was told by, say, OmegaBeta to move out because he is a control freak. OmegaBeta got fired and talents are more allowed to interact.
Haachama wasnt even allowed to say hi to Kson on stream because of OmegaBeta back then.
I actually think they still dont allow Kson on stream. You can talk about her but not collab with her, Hachaama video to kson birthday was more than a year ago. There are plenty of people who would want to stream with kson, even the one who didnt know her back then like ollie.
It could be decision from Holo, say OmegaCelta, or it could be Nijisanji threatening Holo like they did to VCR to not include Kson. They are already proven to be that petty, multiple times.
Kanata is a reclusive shut in on the level of Henya. She doesnt come outside like guutara/demondice/rica/the rest and she might not be allowed to stream with kson nor does she have a pl. So even if they did reconnect you will never know.
