I always thought that one of the reasons the big JP corpos don't do something like this is that the publishers (and other rightsholders) could just start denying perms on principle for the JP entity when they get wind of the EN entity streaming without perms.

I feel like publishers, especially Japanese ones, could be petty enough to do something like that.
