TBH, Youtube shorts and lore videos did more for me learning about the keypoints in Warhammer 30k & 40K lore than the actual books. I ain't got the time and money to crack open 40+ books just on the Horus Heresy alone. The high-production audio readings from the Black Library are pretty nice though.

Just saw a clip of Calli saying she discovered 40k through that Astartes Project fan animation. That is similar to how I found out, though I think mine were official 40k cartoons; Cadian Guardsmen vs Tyranids iirc. All these fan animation and live action movies occasionally show up on my feeds and I've absorbed some of the lore through osmosis.

Interesting. Given how the entire Gen 3 quit because they got no support from staff. Honestly I havent kept up with them. I know that Gen 4 debutted around September last year and I dont remember seeing much about them. Didn't even remember that they had announced a 5th Gen.

It was prompted by Elia's 1 year celebration on the 1st/2nd which then got followed up the PenumbralVT Collab on the 4th. Also add in Airi scheduling a D&D collab with a male DM on the 5th.



I will add theres a bit more bubbling under the surface with Mozzu & V-dere. She has been acting as an unofficial manager for V-dere pretty much since its inception and seems to be doing the most of the work in regards to getting group events/merch/sponsors up and running. She recently vagueposted about not getting credit for her work so seems and i recall her mentioning not being appreciated on a members stream but i cant for the life of me recall which one it was. She recently polled her members to get their opinions on potentially leaving so seems like she has one foot out the door already.

I mentioned on Proctor's stream the whole Aletta thing but got confused and said it was Altare but I guess I was wrong. Guess it was Alban popped in her chat and and her unicorns got beyond pissed because she noticed him. Seems they have had interacted with bigger Vtubers before and on that same line, it does seem that Mozu has mentioned multiple times that she wouldn't be collabing with males (she is a bit more traditional). It is possible that at some point the other girls had agreed not to collab with males as it could "harm" their brand (they seem to be somewhat GFE oriented) but some of the girls did want to collab with males and might be blaming Mozu for them not being able to do so.

It is possible that Mozu might be feeling a bit of stress from being basically a manager/talent.

Like sure maybe normies like Bricky, but let's not pretend male vtubers in general are worth the risk. So then you are telling me that someone who isn't the best in the collabs that they in fact do, take a hit and collab with some dude? What for optics? To show /vt who is boss? What's the point? It's more likely to help the male vtuber than the female in most cases. Like say in a best case scenario she would collab with Randon. OK I can see the audiences overlap. But that would be hard carried by him. Like what are we gonna expect his audience to stay around and watch her? We know that's not what would happen.

So the other girls are having a girl moment because they want to collab with males and Mozu is having a girl moment because they are all blaming her for their girl moment?

His only two videos are about Nijisanji's drama, the PR thing is debatable if its entirely drama since he iirc does have a degree in that, but the other is entirely about the Zion thing, which imo, does really fit most people's definitions of drama, the sensationalized thumbnails dont help

His first stream entirely about vtubing is the absolute spergout about Shizzy, something that affected only the western side of the sphere and only really got holofags mad because he called Mori and Ame racist, but otherwise most of the spergery was from literal whos or outsiders to vtubing. People should be allowed to call a spade a spade, to an extent, i would agree his coverage of drama is fair and well researched enough, but he is still a dramafag, some people just dislike them on principle

I wouldn't really describe his content as drama. Seems extremely short-sighted to claim so. His streams seem more educational and directed more towards a PR or general brand marketing type. Yes he covers situations that are covered by dramatubers but its mostly because those situations seem to lack proper PR training or management doing the smart thing.

Uhhh this one in particular is ripe for malicious interpretation. Let's say you are a v-tuber who has a spicy model but wants to play by Twitch's rules. You can't cover the offending model with props or move parts of it off-screen according to the strictest interpretation of these rules. And since a lot of enforcement has been automated on Twitch it's entirely possible covering parts of your model with black bars or hijabs or something could get you immediately banned by a malicious report, even if the implication of nudity isn't intended. It depends on how they enforce this in practice, but if they wanted to get really anal about the "offscreen model" portion of this they could ban a shit ton of chuubas for nothing. "Uh-oh, your lower half was offscreen because you were playing a video game and didn't want to take up space, but you could have been implying your bottom half wasn't clothed, get the fuck out and go to Youtube you pleb!"

I mean of all dramatubers I consider Armcha1r Expert the best one, which is kind of funny considering how recent he appeared, during the Selen controversy this year. Dude uses vtuber controversies to teach people about public relations and social communications concepts they teach you in media school, and he actually does proper research about the topics. He doesn't cover one specific twitter spat but focuses more on the phenomenons of the community, from which these little internet dramas are just an example of.

Basically, instead of what other dramatubers do, he focuses more on the macro problems of the community rather than the micro ones.

His content resolve around dramas, just because he approaches them a bit differently than most dramatubers, doesn't mean it's no longer about drama.
