The thing you might not known, is that some of Twitch biggest streamer, e.g. xQc, literally promote and streams on a Twitch's rival platform called Kick. Actively pulling viewers from the platform and double dipping, benefiting from both. The previous CEO would have never allowed this and banned the shit out of them.

To be more specific, Twitch removed their exclusivity clause for partners after they changed the 70/30 split for subs to 50/50, kind of a slap and a tickle.
There's a bunch more shit around branded content and handling sponsors, rolling out policy changes then backtracking when the big names got mad.

It's funny you mention the previous CEO, because Emmett Shear was another level of clown.

Specifically, they will close down the Hololive merch shops that was open in ID online shop provider Tokopedia and Sociabuzz. Which means that if any ID fans wanted to buy official merch of their Hololive ID oshis, they would have to go through the official hololive store outside of ID and that would mean increase in taxes and shipping costs (since its shipped into ID from outside), not to mention ID customs potentially ruining their stuff.

So to sum it up:

Calcium says Shylily owns a portion of twitch. Twitch is a subsidiary of Amazon and is not publicly traded, which means Twitch stocks are not available to own. When this is pointed out, Calcium doubles down for no reason, claiming that Shylily does have an ownership stake in the company.

When people ask if he is confusing her personal connections with Dan, Twitch's CEO, for an investment stake in the company, Calcium says, "who the fuck is Dan? Also you're all wrong!"

When people start to make fun of Calcium because he was talking about the inner workings of a company when he doesn't even know its CEO, Calcium calls everyone a retard who has been misinterpreting what he was saying. Calcium also continues to double down on Shylily owning Twitch shares even though a five second google search immediately proves him wrong.

In her last stream she said she was recovering, they told her she needs to stop using her cone so her neck gets used to supporting her head again. The hospital appointments is her going for electrical therapy, not sure if check ups too. They sometimes send you to these places for special therapy to help you manage the pain after suffering these type of injuries. Hopefully these doctors did manage to heal her because they're good and not because they want to cheap out on surgery. I miss my korean hag

It's outpatient Physical Therapy/treatment at the medical center. If it was a car accident, she probably took a lot of ligament damage. Depending very specifically how her body moved in the accident, it could be a very long recovery. My deepest sympathies to her and her fans.

Twitch has added a "fun" new feature called drop-in/knocking where you can interupt other streamers mid-stream to collab beg.

You can't even completely opt out of it currently and have to set the feature to favorites only and then make sure no one's in your favorites.
