To be more specific, Twitch removed their exclusivity clause for partners after they changed the 70/30 split for subs to 50/50, kind of a slap and a tickle.The thing you might not known, is that some of Twitch biggest streamer, e.g. xQc, literally promote and streams on a Twitch's rival platform called Kick. Actively pulling viewers from the platform and double dipping, benefiting from both. The previous CEO would have never allowed this and banned the shit out of them.
There's a bunch more shit around branded content and handling sponsors, rolling out policy changes then backtracking when the big names got mad.
