💰💰💰Gentlemen, it is bill-paying day. That means I am doing a Bernie Sanders and asking for your financial support. The banner ad is already taken, but remember you can still shill clips on the sidebar video. 💰💰💰
Any chance some kind autist who isn't a mobilefag like me could clip Runie's yandere rendition of Last Christmas from her Christmas karaoke (~43:00) and provide a local copy?
None of the clip tools I used to use for mobilefagging seem to be working.
Okay, let's change autism topics: what do you think Idol Corp and Phase Connect would have to do to graduate from being small corpos to being medium corpos? Or are they medium corpos already?
Phase is already a medium corp for the reasons people have already said.
Idol is only tenuously there in my opinion. They threw a lot of money at the industry to buy themselves a pretty sizeable audience, now their challenge will be to find a way to stabilize for the long term. Lots of corps have looked just great until they suddenly imploded, and Riro's graduation has rocked them pretty hard and exposed some big problems in their management and internals, addressing them properly will determine the future of the company. Like Sakana struggling in the early days with his own poor management. A bunch of their talents suddenly becoming active again on the PL accounts would indicate to me that they're aware of this, too, but time will tell whether it's just a precaution or actually an indication of ongoing issues.
I've been arguing for a while now that Phase is a "Medium" corpo. Basically ever since Fishman publicly said in a Q&A early 2023 that they're financially stable without any outside investor money it's been safe to say. You have multiple talents over 1k CCV viewers regularly. Their new talents are still above 1k CCV a week after launch, with 8k CCV on their debuts (nearly double what the previous debuts with Invaders had). Most of their talents are regularly above 5-600 CCV on average. Hell, even Airi who overlaps fully with Pippa all the time is averaging 650 CCV right now. Their only major black mark is their languishing JP talents from Gen 1, but Fishman is showing no signs of leaving them behind and even accidental leaks from everyone indicates at least 2-3 more JP talent on the way soon. So Fish seems to be prepped to invest in them more and hopefully push to round out the JP talent base more.
Idol on the other hand I'm not entirely comfy making that call yet. As many have noticed, they seem to have major investor money that we don't know the current status of. Their first EN generation is only just over 1 year old. Rin, their largest talent, is only around 900-1000 CCV. Most of their talents are around the 250-350 range. Coni, their largest from Gen 2 is averaging 500 CCV. And they also have the same issue Phase does except with their HE branch where Nikki and Katta are sub 100 CCV almost all the time.
Though Idol has a much larger issue in that they just had the major "WTF Happened" incident with Riro. They also fired Tomar, one of their oldest and most knowledgeable manager aside from Aviel, after whatever tryst he had with Riro (presumably). And in the month since then, a few of their talents have seen their Twitter accounts reactivate and have a bit more chatter on it. I've checked as many of the PL's of Idol that I can remember and here's what I'm seeing.
So the majority of their talents have been much more active on their PL in the last month since Riro did whatever she did....I dunno, I'm keeping an eye on Idol along the same way I'm watching vRev. It'd be nuts if Phase is once again the only growing corpo standing in their relative size.
EN 3 is on the way, although this made me curious.
Who are the top talents of Idol? Not just in sub counts, i can check that myself, but in general importance? Rin is obvious, but who else they shouldn't lose at all in your opinion, if anyone checks them regularly?
Because for some reason Rockstar patched this version of the game to fix all the garbage it had early, but they forgot to patch the other versions so hilariously this is the best version of the package, is also the same version that is on streaming on Netflix
Edit: she is playing the netflix version and on a quest to bang a prostitute
Edit 2: im noticing they nerfed the prostitutes times and the private dancing sessions, they are more shorter

And luckily it seems we don't have another Airi situation where one person doesn't get monetized compared to the rest of the group. All 5 of them currently have monetization streams up and on their schedules.
I don't know how to link Twitch stuff, but my favourite cat-lady Kson is gonna be on Koefficient's "In The Hole" show tomorrow night at 8pm PST. I may suffer through Twitch for this.
