It's well known SC (in terms of corpo) is like nothing in the grand scheme of things because while it's nice direct donos, the more passive income is their big earners and what matters most at the end of the day. It's why they do everything to make sure you watch VODs and get merch/packs.

Youtube income has made up between 30- 50% of Cover's revenue stream over the years. While this is split between memberships, SCs and ad revenue, I'd hesitate to call it "Nothing", to be honest.

I'm not huge on covers so I don't have much input in that regard. But original wise I'm just a sucker for emotional songs. So, these are my 2 absolute favorites.



For people unfamiliar with Polka I imagine this song completely came out of left field. And honestly it even took me by surprise that she would go that hard. But just a beautiful song which honestly still sometimes gets me emotional.



After being my kamioshi for over 3 years, this song really encapsulates Watame's journey and her personality. I think at the time it was the most expensive MV in Hololive, and it shows.

And an honorable mention/my favorite this year.



I was struggling on whether or not to include either What An Amazing Swing or Fins. Both released this year. But the fact that I personally rank Fins 2nd with WAAS 3rd, along with it being a collaboration with Pornograffiti made me include this one. Plus I feel it had an underwhelming reception, even though it's absolutely amazing.

Also going to shill a tiny bit for Fubuki's LETTER.

Baka Bakka By Takane Lui. Lui's voice is suited for rock tracks and i hope she does more as it's nice to have a change from the traditional "Idol" songs holo normally produce.
