I feel like a lot of the anti-Mikeneko posting in /vt/ catalog is pushed by Hololive fans. Like, unless you like Hololive, there is no reason to hate Mikeneko.

I dont watch Zeta a lot but I really enjoyed all the performances, the game with Polka was very creative and all her perfomance with Iroha and Mumei were cute and well done, her solo perfomance of her original song fantastic even

To summarize
She feels extremely betrayed by Kotoka and Finana (she apparently met both in person and felt they became great friends) she also said that she gave her genmates a lot of tips about streaming from her experience as an indie so the betrayal stings worse
The last message she sent to the talents was that the notion that "they are nothing without Niji that a lot of them believe" is bullshit
She feels like she let her irl friends and family that were happy for her getting into Niji down
She was so happy when Nina left because she deserves better (Sayu called Nina and Nina told her that she feels like nothing without Niji)

Honestly, she is a menhera and was very problematic in Niji but things only escalated the way they did due to sheer management incompetence. And you can't really blame Sayu for having a woman moment like this.
Of course, alot of what she said is biased to her side of things but you have to remember that the big opportunity she got in Niji was screwed by dumb japanese corpo autism, all the reasoning for her termination were minor issues that were not that much of a deal and they ended throwing public perception against her, filtering alot of good opportunities she could've got.
But it is not like she's completely screwed now, a good chunk of the community (Some from Vshojo, big indies and small corpos) sympathized with her story, so opportunities to turn things around she has and I genuinely hope she does. just stop reading /vt/ you dumb woman.
And yeah, Kotoka's statement was dumb, she didn't think through how to adress the situation well and for some, her crying in a membership stream felt like she was backpedalling, i don't think it was ill intended, but i understand the public reception to it. I still love this gyaru.
