End of the day this is the one thing about Vtuber/Irl separation that has some people confused, for example people think/feel Irys/namirin wouldn't be the type to sell feet pics or nudes or whatever because of how she successfully plays her character on stream, yet it's similar to how people think Elira is some untouched pure virgin that scoffs at the idea of sex just because it's how she comes off on stream. What's that old saying? "Never meet your heroes"? Most actors aren't the same IRL, hell Bruce Willis seems like a chill/cool person to hang around yet everyone in hollywood has said what a shitstain he is off screen.

It also requires paying money if they're smart to gate the content. Only reason people know of certain ones (Noel, Mel etc) is because they slip up or drop hints, some others leave no breadcrumbs to follow unless you happen to be the guy that just happens to have follow an e-thot who becomes a big vtuber and recognize their voice/mannerisms/game choice.

Some updates from Subaru's member stream today:

• She has a sponsored stream she's really nervous about tomorrow, to the point where her stomach's been hurting. This'll be her 3rd one in the past week.
• While she's used to streaming by now, sponsored streams never get easier for her. As Holo keeps growing, sponsored streams feel like they have more pressure to them and it leaves her anxious about doing them properly. She tends to just power through on passion.
• Kinda nervous about the Blue Journey live. For one of the songs, she had to tone her voice down to match with Aki and Mio but still wanted it to feel like herself so there were multiple retakes.
• She talked a bit about DEV_IS but doesn't want to say anything publicly so she doesn't affect anyone's perception. She plans to talk to them a month after debut when they're more comfortable.
• Been meeting with Suisei a lot recently. They're both escape room fans and have been doing them together with other Holos. Subaru realized they've never done a 1-on-1 collab before. They're willing to listen to each other ramble about Yugioh or Ensemble Stars but don't have many common interests so she's not sure how a collab would go.
• Still trying to go by Ohtani Shohei's lifestyle advice. Trusts in getting a good sleep every day. She tries for 6 hours, usually from 6am to 12pm.
• Asked for ideas about her next outfit. Chat was split between a police outfit and a tracksuit. Also thought about a school uniform outfit with tights because she really likes tights.
• Has never thought about quitting Holo. Her and Okayu will probably be here until they die (or the company dies). Had a lot of fun this year and wants to keep it up. Also thinks she can live until 140 years old.
• She had a project planned where she was going to interview someone who could genuinely see ghosts. Management approved and things were going well but the person just stopped communicating and never followed up. The swimsuit showcase stream has also been a struggle because the quality she's trying to set for it is difficult to get approved.
• Wants to ask Yagoo to play a game on stream so she can commentate it. In an ideal world, she would do a Smash Bros tournament with all the vtuber agency CEOs fighting each other.
• During the days when her family was poor, her only source of entertainment was TV. She loved variety TV and feels that it inspires a lot of her content currently. The reason Oozora Police exists is because of that inspiration. Thanks to this, she feels like her content is less "vtuber-esque."
• She was rebellious during her school days. Skipped classes by faking stomach pain and nearly failed. When her teacher told her failing meant she couldn't do club activities anymore, she took it seriously, studied hard and barely passed.
• She's been studying youtube stuff more which is why she used Kawaikute Gomen in her most recent short. The baton sequence took her a few tries but she's proud of it.
• The Holotori discord server is active and energetic. She's glad everyone in the group is kind.
• One of her new goals is to "gain absolute power and become the strongest." (Only she knows what this means, was apparently referencing a song from Aibou though). Hololive has gotten massive and she came to a conclusion that if she wants both her fans and herself to be happy, she has to get stronger.
• She feels like her mental is already strong so she wants to focus on her body. She's been running more often and thinking about getting a personal trainer to help with her exercise.

That's not an unreasonable legal standard. After 15 years, the idea that you can solve a murder is a fantasy without a confession. DNA has changed that, but that's also very "new" as a functional technology. (Even if it's still really bad, actually.) Japan also doesn't really have an criminal justice system, in the way Westerners think. There's a reason they have something like a 99% conviction rate. (If you're ever in Japan and something happens, get your sorry ass to your Consulate and get lawyers involved.)
