It's cringe as fuck and feels strongly like it was just frontloaded into early access/act 1 to bait people into expecting more out of it in the long run when there really isn't. I'm almost through my first complete playthrough and I seriously doubt I'm going to replay it any time soon.

This is why I have no particular intentions of playing BG3. Too big of a shadow cast over it by its predecessor. I still hold up the BG2 romances (the female ones, Annoyman can go back to the Elemental Plane of Bees where he belongs) as some of the best-written player-choice romances in gaming history. Primarily because they take a long time to grow. You need to tolerate the barely-legal elf girl acting like a schoolgirl with her first crush and turn her down when she first awkwardly propositions you. You have to help the druid over the death of her first husband and watch her mentorship role slowly turn into a romantic one after literally dozens of conversations. You have to navigate a drow Tsundere's violent moodswings and know exactly when to fight back or stay quiet to get her to view you as more than just the next boytoy that she'll probably end up killing at some point. At any point you can screw up and lose their interest for good.

Meanwhile in BG3, any% sex speedrunning is a legitimate competitive category and the most meme'd thing about that game is that you can bang a bear.

That doesnt solve the meh dialouge or the fact that all "confession" scenes are about as well written and telegraphed as a Persona game, with some being downright offended you arent a hoe or being dissapointed you're fucking someone else

Astarion you have to have a little more back and forth with I think, I don't know because he's never survived act 1 for me on account of hating his character archetype with all of my being. Halsin is an easy tipping point but I've never bothered with him yet, though from when you meet him to when you can bone is shockingly short. She literally threw it away with Gale though by picking the wrong option, that man is eager to fuck so bad that even a handful of interactions with him just to progress his personal story stuff alone starts leading towards him hitting on you. In my most recent character despite never interacting with him I even had Wyll making some passes at me out of nowhere. Outside of the forced interactions with him from story events I never spoke to Wyll through acts 1 and 2, yet towards the end of act 2 he's making advances.

The game is decent for the gameplay and adventure, the companion personal quests are mostly pointless trash. Only Shadowheart and Astarion's have any real depth to them for how much is involved in working them out. The rest are inconsequential. The character interactions are largely mediocre, I've seen a lot of people praise the writing and that's how I know to disregard their opinions.

My big gripe with BG3 though is how they've decided to ride the coattails of the previous game by dangling some old characters in front of us like "Oh look at this!" and then there's hardly any benefit to them being around. Blatant fanbaiting.

Swen Vincke admitted that it was their fault, they had misconfigured the companions approval meter. And of the female characters, Shadowheart will have sex with you in Act 3, after a lot of dialogs, missions and events, and Karlach in Act 2 after completed her personal mission, close to how it was in previous games.

Earlier this morning in the kirsche discord, Xyz ("Other Nym"), who explicitly and repeatedly claims to not be a moderator and only has the permissions to help him as a clipper and vod archiver, drug up some 2 week old shit about another moderator, ElFather ("First Ken"), claiming that kirsche's resident Nolan Crush alt Junebug "asked if pippa took vag pictures".
To Xyz's partial credit, he's right; what junebug asked is if pippa gets vag pictures, presumably from kirsche, because apparently kirsche gets no-no square pictures from pippa. I don't really agree with his assessment that asking if pippa took them is worse but that's not the point.

To Xyz's partial credit, he's right; what junebug asked is if pippa gets vag pictures, presumably from kirsche, because apparently kirsche gets no-no square pictures from pippa. I don't really agree with his assessment that asking if pippa took them is worse but that's not the point.

The thing that boggles my fucking mind is that Kirsche has been live for 44 fucking days and has been absolutely minimal on the Discord during that time. Same for Nym. At any point you can screw up and lose their interest for good.

That doesnt solve the meh dialouge or the fact that all "confession" scenes are about as well written and telegraphed as a Persona game, with some being downright offended you arent a hoe or being dissapointed you're fucking someone else

Chances are it's dev speak for "oh we made it too easy opps" not sure why it's a big deal im playing the game for the game not to bang the party.

Highly recommend Planescape Torment if you haven't played it already. One of the best-written RPGs out there.

To Xyz's partial credit, he's right; what junebug asked is if pippa gets vag pictures, presumably from kirsche, because apparently kirsche gets no-no square pictures from pippa. I don't really agree with his assessment that asking if pippa took them is worse but that's not the point.

Seeing the pictures and hearing the clip, I don't see where it's said that Pippa is sending pippictures of the pippussy to Kirsche for some ungodly reason; just that other female fans are sending vag pictures to Kirsche for some ungodly reason. Is it actually confirmed somewhere that Pippa is sending these pictures? On second thought, don't answer that.

Maybe I'm just secretly blessed because the site seems like an utter piece of shit. I think maybe one clip posted on Rumble and linked here has actually loaded and played in it's entirety. It just doesn't load more than maybe half a second of audio and a frame otherwise and stops for far longer than I care to wait (ten seconds).

It sounds like you use brave. I have the same issue when I try to load any video and it only happens with brave. Firefox has never given me problems but if anyone knows another browser that doesn't have chromium let me know.
