I doubt it. Phase runs a 5ish/1 talent-to-manager ratio, and someone like Mint can pay for better with her income. TBH, I don't see what Fish Man can provide that Mint can't get on her own through other people.

Maybe just some sort of informal to semi-formal alliance? Some group to work with on "idol stuff" when it's available without having to setup everything? There's different types of business relationships that could be worked out.

Holo is a no brainer for mint but the thing is if she can actually join. This isn't the early days anymore where they could jump companies willy nilly without some sort of bs behind the scenes. The oriental corpo autism might actually forbid her from entering holo, who knows really or maybe she doesn't want to go that hardcore. Taking holo out of the equation, the only other corpo who seem to invest in 3d performances is brave and their myriad of studios but joining is a coin toss. Then there's phase who are ramping up their 3d efforts and have some stability. Vshojo is just there if she wants to be a has been and do fuck all but I think mint still has the itch for the stage after niji fucked her out of it.
I don't actually think she's joining phase but my nigga fishman sure MIGHT be trying to rope her in offering a spot on his show, if it's a disaster no harm done but if it's actually a hit by their size she might think about sticking around.

It's not really Mint-exclusive, i like Phase a lot, but currently a strong&stable 4-view who has a dedicated fanbase and is doing fine as an indie has little reason to sign with them, they're simply not big enough. Hopefully, not big enough yet, but for the foreseeable future Phase's recruitment strategy will continue to be either getting people from defunct small corpos, or finding hidden gems nobody's bothered to give opportunities to(Runie and Clara, for instance, fit both of these criteria).

The E-begging and bullshit detector is going off on this.

And to think I was a little uncomfortable with it being a site header here as it’s basically featuring one of the most stressful moments of her life.

But this? These people are fucking shameless.

Keeki is the worst kept secret in Hololive at the moment.

I did a bit of digging back on this person because every single one of the posts on the original post was “I don’t know this person, but I hope they get better.” it just didn’t pass the smell test with me.

Looking back, this person has been through multiple changes over the years and only just became a vtuber on twitch around march of this year, and streamed under a different name on kick and twitch before. Engagement on her twitter is next to nothing it looks like, she turns off comments on her posts, has her real instagram connected to her, plus a Reddit and Kofi where she posts pay pig fetish stuff.

Ontop of that she posted back in April of this year she was in a car accident and was in the hospital, and asked for donations to her Kofi, no picture of the car was ever posted and her instagram had no mention of the accident at all. So there seems to be a trend of using some those “I have life problems” stories to garner support, whether it’s her, her car or her dogs.

My gut tells me this is 100% a grift, she might not get any lasting viewers but she’s walked away with 300+ new twitter followers and 40+ twitch followers and probably a few donations.

Mint is a good asset to have around. She is also a great link to Vshojo and Hololive. Gunrun does not offer concerts and idol shit which Mint might be somewhat interested in (going back to those dance videos and karaoke videos she did in the time she spent waiting for her noncompete to drop after graduating).

I really don't see Mint going to Phase. From what I understand of her, Hololive would be best, with Vshojo a semi-distant second. Phase doesn't really have much to offer with what she wants to do, in addition to the fact that if a vtuber can handle being indie, that's the way to go.

So unless Phase is indeed investing a lot more on the whole idol side of things, and Mint will be the driver for it, I just don't see her joining.

Then again, I have a history of making predictions that end up the opposite, so... fucking hell, are we really getting Pomu and not Selen or Zaion? What a weird world.

If Hololive did not pick her up already, chances are that it never will. Or maybe she is scared in joining a big corpo knowing how Niji operated. I might be rrating but with so many talents leaving Hololive (including A-chan) I feel like things might be changing and not everyone is on-board with the change.
