Not that surprising, it was too convenient that this 'friend' of hers had access to all of this retard's social media accounts and the tone of her messages didn't feel right (plus there was no actual proof provided). I'd bet that the accounts harassing her (and maybe even the anonymous tipster) were also fake. Nijisisters are literally insane.

If I had to take a guess I'd say no. Sure the fanbase was acting like a bunch of total retards on crack, but it's too recent for that to be the reason to graduate, if it was then he would be graduating a month/s down the line and not now (The shortest period I know of someone putting their notice and announcing the graduation in Niji is Kyo and that was like 1 month, so maybe he gave it at the beginning of July?).
He probably got tired of management or decided to move on to greener pastures, put the notice months ago and decided to announce it now.
