This is really fucked up but it does explain so much related to the gender mess they are in. Its interesting how getting molested/raped as a child is often one of the main common denominators of people that have some sort of gender dysphoria. Hell even someone like Calli who got teased and bullied according to that one podcast she did, seems to have developed a bit of it. Its pretty sad to see.

He's been a bit rambling and vague in this stream and not even in the "I'm under NDA I have to avoid talking about this" way, just in general. I don't think he wants much separation between himself and the vtuber (no kayfabe(?), etc.) and mentions that "Randon is just Randon." Wants to do a soft debut. He had a music video, an animated mv he's been working on, but decided he doesn't need a big launch and just wants to start.

Lando did something wrong (that Randon initially did, but managed to fix). Lando went back to Twitch. A good chunk of his Youtube audience did not follow cross platform.
Random thought but I wonder if Randon would benefit from having a model update. Back when his 2.0 was announced I saw a ton of people that did not watch him talk about how much they loved his new model and wanting to check him out. Being a male can be a debuff when it comes to Vtubing and I honestly think his orc model can filter some people. He should go with the whole Castlevania type route and go for a more anime/pretty boy look without losing the orc thing and still going for the old grampire look.
What shadows? This girl was given a golden ticket with the Flavr thing and the only one that seems to have wanted to aggressively distance herself from that label was herself. Dont think anyone else really gives 3 shits about it. Maybe im wrong but thats how it seems to be.
It does seem that Magni is constantly comparing himself to everyone else and he hates that he can't be as popular. He seems to have compared himself to Doki once shit went down and all the support she got but it is stupid as hell to think it was the same. Doki was loved by everyone. Magni had a big following but nowhere as big or as dedicated as Selen. Also Selen got fucked by the company whereas it seems Magni was the one that pulled away from Cover. Atleast that is what we can piece together from the shit both him and Randon have said.
Both of them probably regret it but Randon probably was more comfortable making his decision and has accepted it (possibly because he doesn't seem to be the type to work well with the management in Cover). All of Magni's holdups seem to be centered about him wanting more. His main issue probably stemmed from him not liking his model. Looking across the pond and seeing that all of the male Niji models are very good.
There is a saying here related to greed that you have to be careful you don't end up without the goat, or the rope. Lando seems like the perfect example of that. He tried to gamble and lost everything instead of being happy with what he had. I don't think his numbers will go up much with the new model. He also failed to capitalize on his graduation by getting the model made earlier (maybe it was a non-compete thing) and by streaming on Youtube. At this point the only benefit from the Vtuber model is that he will be able to interact with other Vtubers that only interact with Vtubers.
Only saving grace is that maybe he can interact with Axel and Altaire using their alts like Doki did.
Only people that seem to be riding their graduations or terminations all come from Niji but you have to thank the company for that. THey have sucked so hard as a company that anyone getting out is championed by the people similar to how they cheer for someone escaping their abuser irl.

The FlaVR name had no long-term sustainability since it quickly got diluted by too many people jumping into it, with no kind of wrangling or quality control to keep them in line - not to mention the anti-AI retards are always going to hold that against anyone who was part of it. She was smart to distance herself from it once the initial novelty wore off.
While I'd never attempt to explain the lore of this to a tourist, I still find it so funny how we've gaslight this topic so much it's now forum canon.
Regarding the discussion about Lando and numbers. I'm pretty sure at the start of his Magni career he went on about how one shouldn't care about numbers.

Nyana removed the FLAVR brand pretty early on too and is probably the only other FLAVR creation that ended up going anywhere too afaik

Has either of them ever really let slip the contract issue(s) they had hang ups about? Vesper/Randon leaving wasn't the most surprising thing, the fact he lasted the full first year is a bit surprising in hindsight. He's clearly not the type to work well under that type of structure, reminding me a lot of WW2 stories of dudes doing insane feats but you know they'd never function in a peace-time military setting. He's the kind of crazy you need to win a war, but not the type you normally want to keep around.
Magni/Lando screwed up. I think everyone gets that, at this point, and moving from YT to Twitch is a really good call for his audience issues. Though rather than making a Vtuber model, he really should do what probably no one else has ever attempted: actually go back to Cover. It would probably take some convincing, especially as we don't know how the relationship soured about the contracts, but it could easily work, from a business perspective, for both parties. Though considering the likely issue stemmed from Lando thinking way too highly of his appeal/audience, that might be far too much for his ego to absorb, even if it is likely a better business decision.

He's the original Niji femboy. Although he's Mito's genmate, the males of that gen never took off. Ken-chan was the first Niji male who really made it big.
I was under the impression that the earlier gens of Niji have pretty lenient terms on their contract, so I suppose he may just be leaving the space for good.

If cover were to benefit from having him back they wouldn't have let him go in the first place, he has nothing to offer to make his menhera numberfagging soon-to-troon-out ass worth the risk as he has already proved to be too high on his own ego to even care about anyone but himself.
