A question about Idol.

Have they actually actually considered debuting 3D models and performing on stage like what many expect an idol to do? I'm curious why they named themselves Idol otherwise.

Aviel simply picked that name because he came in during the "Copy Hololive" era of small corpos and he probably wanted to capitalize on whatever limited understanding of their appeal he had.

Aviel said in one of his early newsletters or something that they used the word "Idol" in the sense of having someone to idolize/look up to, not the traditional singing and dancing sense. That's why Riro and the Encore invaders with Lisa and the other two were meant to be different from usual Idol gens, as they were Idol's biggest attempts to focus on music. I haven't kept up with them so I don't know how they're doing on that front though. The girls from other gens can focus on music if they want to (like Roca and sometimes Rin) but can also do whatever, like Nikki with her wood craft, Poko with her art or Katta with whatever the hell Katta does.

So yea basically a buzzword kinda thing.

She annoyed me when, after getting shit for switching to a coomer model, she complained and blamed her fanbase for not making clips when she was in her loli model.
