Wonder how well Dooby and Nimi know the other two.

Anyway, I'm curious about Ashton and Hyuni, mainly on why they were chosen by Dooby and Nime to perform together in the concert. Are they actually close friends off-stream? I don't think I have seen them interacting with each other before the concert was announced.

I think you might have the wrong idea about the concert. From what I understand the concert is an oshispark initiative not something Dooby/Nimi came up with. Last year they also had a Virtual Vacation with Utano Pandora, Miori Celesta, Mint Fantôme, and Bao the Whale.

Ashton had a stream (she's kind of all over the place but starts around 10 minutes) shortly after the initial announcement where she shared how it went down from her perspective. She has worked with oshispark before and let them know that if they want to organize something then they can get in contact with her. She was possibly the first person they reached out to and only later found that the other talents are Nimi, Dooby and Hyuni. She was absolutely flabbergasted once they told her that. Hyuni and Ashton have worked together on a cover before so they know each other but there doesn't seem to be any connection between them and Nimi/Dooby based on their reactions.
