It's really just sad that they were so gaslit they are still talking as if it was their fault... it might not be Dokibird levels of bad (that we yet know of...) but damn if this isn't just about the worst condemnation of a corpo I've seen from talents. Sad Kilia wasn't given the opportunity to buy her IP but if her departure was necessary for the closure (I have to imagine it was at least an important reason) it was worth it to get these girls out.
I wouldn't call it bait since she's breaking her silence in the sense of starting to stream again, but she's also made it clear that she won't be talking about her previous life. Maybe something will slip out now and then but she's not going to spill any tea - which is for the best for her future prospects.
Unfortunately she's showing off the sketch for her 2.0 model and it looks like she's going down the "leave a corpo and get an immediate loli downgrade" route. Damn. (Her EIEN model was loli-ish too, I know)
Generally I'd say that we need to remember that talents getting IP after a company closes is the exception, not the rule, but, for one, that's increasingly becoming not the case (at least in the EN market), and for two, if you're going to offer buyouts instead, charging different rates is really messed up. Maybe the logic is that since the smaller streamers haven't made as much money for the company, they "owe" more towards the initial cost that EIEN had to pay for the model? Either way the model is worth $0 to Eiri (or any future buyers/investors that aren't Wactor/910) currently so why not just accept whatever nemo can offer and come out on top?
They have a discord server together so it's definitely not her.
"I just wanted to talk to you one on one"
if it's about model prices chances are its Eri or some other staff/person in higher position.
