I know she's trying to say AI might replace them but I highly doubt it, will probably use it in some way to assist them but they aren't going to replace court reporters. Mainly because of legal responsibility. I doubt companies that provide the AI want to deal with getting sued when something goes wrong but also court reporters do a lot more than just typing.

Stone age boomers. My mom worked with a computer for 25 years and could never get past the chicken peck phase, and her similarly ancient coworkers agreed that child me was a freak of fucking nature for being able to type without looking at the keyboard.

This explains why so many people use phones for everything, I can't stand using a phone most of the time and laptops are annoying a well.

We have an entire generation of retards whose idea of typing is using their thumbs on a touch screen. They just don't know how to approach a big boy keyboard.
She's literally me frfr.
The american school system tried to teach me multiple times but it failed. I moved on from solely index fingers to mostly a mix of my Index, Middle, and Ring finger with the occasional use of my thumbs for the space bar and my pinky to hit caps lock to Type In Uppercase.
I only learned to use more than just my Index fingers so I could sling slurs and tell my idiot teammates in video games to fucking PLAY AS A TEAM faster.
