Lunova just posted their corpo registration information. Looks like they're based in JP.
That registration info matches what can be found on JP business registration info sites such as this one so it seems to be legit.
Edit: Possibly associated LinkedIn profile. The only previous job listed is for a pharma company.

Nah for what i can see this poor guys got scammed by the Vreverie guys, probably a boomer that want to get in the business and fumble his way into Vreverie of all places, thankfully they moved the PR department very fast so i will give them the benefit of the doubt

Can't speak to the discrepancy of KuraNova vs Lunova but I see October 2024 and November 2024 mentioned on the registration. The screenshot in the tweet looks like it's a screenshot of a printer-friendly version of the page so I'm willing to bet the 2/26 is referring to the date printer friendly version was generated. Otherwise I don't see anything else pointing to shenanigans happening today.
So assuming that KuraNova and Lunova are the same entity, I think it's just a nothingburger. But that may or may not be a big assumption.

So was anyone watching the activity of the VRev founders? Any chance any of them took a trip to Japan last October? 
Maybe they left a social media trail, like photos from an izakaya night or something. I didn't/don't follow this corpo nearly as closely as some of you so I wouldn't know where to start looking but maybe it's a thread someone more familiar with them can pull.

I honestly don’t care whether or not they’re another party. If they use an old VRev account, they cannot be good.
If company registration data is real, it's basically just some asian retards replaced with others, but more retarded. They write good english, but have absolutely no clue about vtubuing industry, and especially EN part of it. If they did, they'd read this very thread and never talked to vrev grifters.

Allegedly, she worked with VRev as a consultant/manager role. Not familiar with the her nor have the talents ever mention her name. I assume she worked a lot of stuff behind the scenes much like how Melmi, was another contractor hired by VRev, who was the talent's editor.

I think for 99% of vtubers a hobby is all it was ever really going to be. But the human animal's reach will forever exceed its grasp.
