Guided by a flash of magical insight, you make one attack with the weapon used in the spell's casting. The attack uses your spellcasting ability for the attack and damage rolls instead of using Strength or Dexterity. If the attack deals damage, it can be Radiant damage or the weapon's normal damage type (your choice).

Yes your reading that right you buff and attack in the same action this is amazing for a cantrip and gives you a reason to invest in your wizards starting weapon and for bonus points it can deal radiant damage which is fairly rare unless they decide to change that.

For the first time, a mod recreating Marc Laidlaw's Epistle 3 actually has a product to ship, with original music and everything. All of the other projects have been glorified tech demos and résumé fluffers (looking at you Project Borealis), seemingly until now. Demo comes out December 20th.

I always thought Valve's excuse that Episode 3/3 proper never got off the ground due to the lack of creative ideas and such was kinda BS. Something else had to have happened with 3 as we had dev on episode 4. Like what was episode 1s big innovation? Puzzles that existed in 2 main (and were better there imo). Or Episode 2, it's major innovation was destructable environment's which had already existed over a decade prior?

I don't buy it. The demise of 3 is conveniently around the time both steam and TF2 started to take off as platforms. In reality the only outlier is Portal 2 as even both Left 4 Dead games were also released in the pre Steam explosion window.
