PoE1 has a bunch of problems of its own that PoE2 looks to alleviate, mainly feature-creep. It should be a good jumping-on point for new players. The seethe from Ferguson makes me want to try out PoE2 and I don't even like ARPGs.

And that Aloy cosplayer will be male.Herman Hulst will have him replaced with an Aloy cosplayer.
That's precisely why Blizzard is freaking out. PoE1 scared off too many casuals and normies, the core audience of Diablo 4, with how much shit there was and they felt they'd be jumping in late. PoE2 has a serious chance of taking a chunk of the normies away from Blizzard and that scares the fuck out of them.PoE1 has a bunch of problems of its own that PoE2 looks to alleviate, mainly feature-creep. Especially true since games like BG3 and Elden Ring have shown the general audience is a-ok with more complex games as long as they are relatively competently made. Turns out, games are fun when they don't treat their audience like they are completely brainless. That's precisely why Blizzard is freaking out. This tweet is kind of old news at this point by internet time standards, but i simply can't stop having sensible chuckles about it.
Hack N Slash was essentially stolen by 3D Brawler esk games like God Of War for how much hacking and slashing you do.Is this bait? For the longest time, ARPG was synonymous with Diablo, and all games in that vein were looked at as Diablo clones. Also, Hack-n-Slash. So there were two terms that brought to mind Diablo whenever they were mentioned.
It's not path of exile unless it refuses to run for 20% of players for no discernible reason.PoE1 has a bunch of problems of its own that PoE2 looks to alleviate, mainly feature-creep. It should be a good jumping-on point for new players.
And that 20% is still having more fun than if they were playing Diablo 3 or 4.it's not path of exile unless the game just doesn't work for 20% of players.
PoE in general has a problem where it pretends to be a fun free game, but then makes you pay $300 for stash tabs to make the game actually playable.PoE1 has a bunch of problems of its own that PoE2 looks to alleviate, mainly feature-creep. It should be a good jumping-on point for new players.
As someone not playing POE who's friend recently convinced him to give 4 a chance I have to agree, not playing POE is more fun than playing D4.And that 20% is still having more fun than if they were playing Diablo 3 or 4.
The combat was janky but you could get into the flow of it okay. The world once you got out of Velen's mudhole was great. The middle parts of the plot were good, even if everything past the point of no return was meh. Hearts of Stone was a big improvement on the base game, and Blood & Wine was peak. Both made big strides in terms of both writing and cinematography.I have and will always believe Witcher 3 to be overrated. 7/10 at best.

Eh 1's combat kills the fun for me too much even if the "bosses" were fun.The Witcher 1 > The Witcher 3 > The Witcher 2.

1's combat was the only one I could tolerate because it was the same system as KOTOR and NWN instead of the terrible, floaty action RPG jank of 2 and 3.Eh 1's combat kills the fun for me too much even if the "bosses" were fun.
Unironcally this. The Witcher 1 might have had terrible gameplay but it's quest design and story were great. Basically it's Dragon Age 2 if DA2 wasn't rushed (and apparently made by tards). The Witcher 1 > The Witcher 3 > The Witcher 2.

That's terrific. How does this change the fact that playstation 5 has no games and the switch is a dodgy underpowered crappy handheld and we would be much better off having a real console and a portable, separate.Sony just announced that the PS2's record is 160 million units. So they just randomly added 5 million more units, as it was at 155 million units while Nintendo announced earlier this month that the Switch has just hit 146 million units. At the rate Nintendo is going, they likely would have broke 155 million units around Q2 (September) next year. With this 5 million added on, that's going to let Sony hold onto the record for another 6-9 months.
because buying one system is a Win not a loss. i get people like to shit on nintendo but the switch being portable is the weirdest thing to mock it for and still it's major selling point for a lot of people. That's terrific.
