🎊Check out the new Kamioshi Shrine thread! Shill YOUR kamioshi here! Win prizes!🎊
April is just around the corner, and I'd like to use this time to remind users to donate in support of the site. I am looking into purchasing more add-ons to streamline and enhance user experience, and I am also going to hire another VPS for additional backup space and other important purposes in April.
In addition: I am looking for users who would be interested in becoming Orderlies for the new vtuber threads. Responsibilities would include highlighting and properly collating information in each thread, and also maintaining the announcement widgets for each thread. Knowledge of basic HTML and CSS (very easily learned) essential. DM me your interest.
Finally, I'm looking for anyone with intermediate to advanced HTML/CSS/PHP knowledge to continue work on the forum styles. I am willing to pay for this service, but if I do, I expect commitment and results within a reasonable timeframe. DM me any offers. Thank you.
That's precisely why Blizzard is freaking out. PoE1 scared off too many casuals and normies, the core audience of Diablo 4, with how much shit there was and they felt they'd be jumping in late. PoE2 has a serious chance of taking a chunk of the normies away from Blizzard and that scares the fuck out of them.

Especially true since games like BG3 and Elden Ring have shown the general audience is a-ok with more complex games as long as they are relatively competently made. Turns out, games are fun when they don't treat their audience like they are completely brainless.
PoE1 is an amazing game. It's also a convoluted, incoherent mess of mechanics held together by ducttape.
A reminder that PoE2 was initially meant to be just a huge update within the bounds of PoE1's client, but eventually GGG just had to give up on it, because the amount of stuff they wanted to change and update wasn't allowing for that plan.
I'm far from fully sold on PoE2's combat yet, but all of the core systems look like they've been refined to near-perfection, losing the incoherence along the way.
Is this bait? For the longest time, ARPG was synonymous with Diablo, and all games in that vein were looked at as Diablo clones. Also, Hack-n-Slash. So there were two terms that brought to mind Diablo whenever they were mentioned.
The combat was janky but you could get into the flow of it okay. The world once you got out of Velen's mudhole was great. The middle parts of the plot were good, even if everything past the point of no return was meh. Hearts of Stone was a big improvement on the base game, and Blood & Wine was peak. Both made big strides in terms of both writing and cinematography.

1's combat was the only one I could tolerate because it was the same system as KOTOR and NWN instead of the terrible, floaty action RPG jank of 2 and 3.
Sony just announced that the PS2's record is 160 million units. So they just randomly added 5 million more units, as it was at 155 million units while Nintendo announced earlier this month that the Switch has just hit 146 million units. At the rate Nintendo is going, they likely would have broke 155 million units around Q2 (September) next year. With this 5 million added on, that's going to let Sony hold onto the record for another 6-9 months.
Unironcally this. The Witcher 1 might have had terrible gameplay but it's quest design and story were great. Basically it's Dragon Age 2 if DA2 wasn't rushed (and apparently made by tards).
I'm glad that the third game exists though because I remember all the dick riding of 2 which was like a really janky version of Arkham Asylum. It's like RPG nerds, come back to me after playing Batman or Sleeping Dogs. (Id argue that Sleeping Dogs had a better story too, the concept of having an entirely different Act 2 in the Witcher 2 depending on your choices was neat but id be damned if I was asked to remember something about it's story)

That's terrific. How does this change the fact that playstation 5 has no games and the switch is a dodgy underpowered crappy handheld and we would be much better off having a real console and a portable, separate.

because buying one system is a Win not a loss. i get people like to shit on nintendo but the switch being portable is the weirdest thing to mock it for and still it's major selling point for a lot of people.
