Using contextual clues. X&Y take place around the same time as black and white 2 as one of the npc's in luminose talks indirectly about team plasma taking that at face value gives us a rough date of when all the games take place chronologically

this would have to take place not too long after that because i'm 90% sure a different npc talks about the upcoming renovations though at the time it just seemed like an off handed comment.

So, I thought Ubisoft landed on "turbo racist" with AC:Shadows as a way of solving a problem they created for themselves. I'm now fairly convinced that some faction within their hierarchy is actually turbo racist against the Japanese. I'm guessing they've hired too many Chinese Nationals.

It's weird to explain that much of the reason for the push to continue the war between Russia & Ukraine stems from a set of incidents between the Western European royals and Tsarist Russia in the 1890s. What's sadder, is less than 140 years from that still getting people killed is how much of the entire Woke movement stems from the Battle of Hastings in 1066. And I wish that was a joke.

There's just so much low-level hatred that you need to do historical analysis on to come up with "But why do you hate them?".

Monster Hunter: Wilds is, unsurprisingly, having incredible performance issues, to the point that even the long list of tech fixes they posted today may not even work on the user's end. Even worse if you have AMD, there are hundreds of reports on steam that it doesn't play nice at all, if it even runs on the highest-end parts!

I wish I could play the game without it hard crashing my system within a few minutes of running. Imagine buying a game for $70, and you can actually play it - impossible, I know. Thank you, Capcom (this is going to be the best selling Monster Hunter game in the series).

I can only imagine they are trying to power the servers with rage and sorrow from those who can't get past (name of Low rank monster here) have patience it's revolutionary they just need to stabilize it.

Personally i'm hoping that one of the title updates adds Magnamalo would love to fight that thing in a less arcade like MH game (i love rise tho.)

The most die-hard MH fan I know just refunded it, he didn't have crashes or anything but in his words "it doubled down on everything bad about World and threw more AAA schlock on top." My new PC isn't even finished yet so I can't play it, but from the sounds of it the game is just undercooked right now, not even accounting for performance. Really annoying stuff

I'm just going to wait for the game to stop crashing so I can actually play it, give it a few days for hotfixes and emergency driver updates, because every second that people have issues playing the game, refunds are looming around the corner.

In other news, Warframe revealed the Protoframes for Nova, Frost, Saryn, and the new Temple Warframe who is clearly inspired by David Bowie (they understood the assignment).

What's really wild is just how...ok it looks? Like I've been pretty lucky and have been able to play it on PC at max settings with absolutely no issues so far, and to be honest I'm not particularly blown away by the technical achievement here. It doesn't look that much better from what I remember World looking, by and large it's solid but there's the odd bit of texture work that looks rough and there's a gritty/blurry sort of filter that keeps cropping up which is...an aesthetic choice they made.
I'm not complaining but I'm not seeing what's blowing out so many people's PCs either.

I doubt we'll see Magnamalo outside of any of the arcade/grand collection style games. It's just too out there, it only really works in Rise's setting.

I've just beaten the Doshaguma fight. Enjoying shaking the rust off with my main Gunlance and the rework quite a bit. Been facerolling everything so far, but eh, that's Low Rank for you I guess. I've been building a LBG but haven't really bothered with the two weapon system so far. Seikret's - with the settings changes - are pretty convenient but I'm not sure how I feel about their effects on world traversal yet. Some of those Seikret-only paths seem kinda scuffed for how automated they are, and there was a real sense of satisfaction in World when you learned all the shortcuts and zipline bugs and so on to get around fast. Squads seem like a solid improvement to the multiplayer from what I've seen of them so far.

i tuned into the Destream for a few minutes and i got lucky.

they showed off temple just a little bit the important thing is his Exalted Weapon (Guitar) is named Lizzie.

they really did understand the assignment.

Unique Pistol Riot 848 has returning bullets

Passive Metronome: you have a metronome onscreen under your crosshair casting when it's in the center makes abilities more efficient and gives a bonus effect

1: Flame Pillars (helmith)

2:Speakers that make enemies easier to crit

3:Shock Trooper but for fire damage also has a "panic button" Cast. which is just more flame pillars (i think) they also said that you can keep it's duration going with metronome empowered casts of your other skills

4:Lizzie an Exalted Flamethrower landing metronome hits increase the length of time you can keep it out when you "aim" with it your abilities are replaced with 4 new ones using one of these abilities causes Lizzie to fire a projectile that inflicts status (Viral Magnetic Frozen????????????? and Corrosive)

Perhaps RE engine isn't made in mind for open world, not without a lot of fine tuning that they didn't do.
