Avowed review: Obsidian nails the combat, but not the story
Combat is fun and interesting in Avowed -- but surprisingly for an Obsidian game, the story and characters are not.
notably it's under the "story" series which hopefully means it will be more like cyber sluth (aka playable)
wasn't the name blackbeard taken up by a woman at some point? or am i think of someone else? as i recall did a good job of it. till blackbeard himself bitched out.
Outer Worlds 2 might be an ok game maybe even a good one but it will never surpass Episode 9 of secret level. and that's sad because it's not even in the top 5 episodes of that show

The in-match leveling up and HOTS perks does kinda interest me since HiRez fucking killed Paladins not a week ago.

I played League in 2011, not everyone having skins, and not being able to get skins aside from Facebook Tristana and Unchained Alistar was the norm, and people didn't really mind back then. But you can't open the pandora's box of free shit for everyone and then close it again. It just doesn't work that way.
Still working on a way to get people to play Skyrim to unlock new content/perks/skins/cosmetics/waifus in unrelated games.
They took my 'free' amazon prime monthly slopbox and now I don't care anymore.

STALKER 2 had another 127.1 GB update, once again relating to the improvement of A-Life. I am once again begging game developers to optimize their file patching structure.

League has been pushing really hard into stealing wallets recently wonder what happened ? it's not like they were opposed to cash before but it comes out of left field especially when by my estimates they were making more money then ever.

Getting free shit through lootboxes is a lot better than getting no free shit at all. Also yeah, I'll unironically take free lootboxes over yet another battlepass where I have to put in 50 hours after paying to get the same thing as everyone else, whereas the lootboxes (that I never paid for) I can luckshitter immediately and get the good stuff after two matches.
Unironically it could be the first good OW2 patch in a long time, especially the perk system - but I'm sure they'll find some way to fuck it up. I just want to try DPS Ana in ranked
I don't think they are going to be winning back any of the people who left for Rivals though, they must be really feeling the heat to make such drastic changes. Competition is always good in that respect but it could be too little too late for them.
