I just want to try DPS Ana in ranked :ponrys:
Ana is my favorite character, I just hate the fact that teammates absorb the shots I'm trying to fire at enemies, and keep screaming at me about wanting me to throw the funny grenade at them instead, I don't get it.
:dokiSmug:

Jokes aside, being able to headshot with Ana will be fucking cinema.

Today is the 22nd anniversary of FFTA on gameboy advance. A fantastic game that was satanized by internet mouthbreathers who couldn't figure out the judge cards system.

I never gave a shit about OW so I gotta ask, why the fuck are people so excited about fucking loot boxes being back?

Holy shit modern gaming is so fucking retarded, what kind of femboy cheers at loot boxes. Pirate everything and cheat constantly in all PvP games solely to make others more miserable.
The system they had to replace lootboxes was horrible, thats how

When OW1 had em people werent peak gamed by lootbox autism outside of TF2, shitty F2Ps, and shit nobody actually used like ME3 and BF3/4

Lootboxes are honestly fine, even if they are purchasable. My issue is when they don't have a store to directly purchase items through but instead funnel you through the casino.

it is a bad system dude. it's either piss easy in which case why is it even there. or you use a black card to ignore it oh and enemies get to ignore it without a black card so it's just there to vex the player and not just in story battles where the other side get's plot armor.

Placing down areas should have also been explained in game with maybe some clues about how to arrange things to get items out of it.

The first Final Fantasy Tactics game on GBA was better. Sucks being lesser than the original game but that's the Final Fantasy series for you.

FFTA makes you call people slurs upon arrival in isekai land. thus it's better.

Trails through Daybreak II: Crimson Sin just launched, and for the unaware, this title is...contested among the fanbase. It's why Falcom pulled the emergency trigger of "bring back Class VII" in the next Kiseki game, and accelerated the series finale instead of making a third Daybreak game. Unless you're a die-hard JRPG fan, wait for a deep sale, especially because the "complete edition" is nearly $200, which should happen around the time "Farewell, O Zemuria" releases in English.

If you're not aware of the Trails series, good luck, it's over 1000 hours of JRPG across multiple generations of games. This could be a good or a bad thing, depending on how you feel about JRPGs and interconnected worldbuilding!

whenever i read "contested" I read "people couldn't be bothered to engage with the game on it's own terms" this is the same franchise where people hate one of the better games in the series because it's filler and yet love the filler game simply because it's not titled like a sequel.

Personally, I agree, but tell that to Falcom with the past year or so of fans debating on whether or not Crimson Sin was "good"!

What makes it contested?

As big a Trails fan as I am, I still haven't finished Reverie, and it's been so long, I'm planning on restarting the whole game after I finish up with a few other games I'm in the middle of. So I don't even know all that much about the Daybreak arc right now. Try to go into these types of games pretty blind.

Whenever I get to this one, I'll still probably buy it for full price. One of the only series that I'm willing to do so. Definitely not the "complete edition" because damn near all DLC for Falcom games are costumes and extra in-game items like consumables and crafting materials. Never worth it.

Am also curious about how the game is contested so much. It's certainly not a first for the Trails series as the Cold Steel games were pretty contested at times, especially CS4. Even though I still overall enjoyed CS4, there were definitely a lot of decisions that I was not a fan of, some that ended up retroactively affecting events from the previous games.

Still, no matter what, I still enjoy much of the overarching stories that happen within the series, so it would have to be a pretty big fuck-up for me to drop it.

I've played all the translated games up till now and am currently at the prologue of Daybreak 2(still on the demo and my copy will hopefully arrive soon). From what I've heard, Kai retroactively makes Daybreak 2's story and plot better so I'll save my final verdict on the game until after I finish Kai although I will still judge the technical and gameplay aspects. I do hope Daybreak 2 improves upon the unbalanced combat in the first game. Half of the shard skills are worthless while Ark Feather is OP.

Just finished watching btw. This video is very good and explains in-detail how Valve butchered their game to cater to competitivefags to attempt riding the coattails of Counter-Strike and pushed out broken matchmaking to combat Overwatch despite knowing all of the problems, how Valve purposely left their game in a state of neglect for eight years afterwards without fixing literally anything when their attempts to turn a casual game competitive failed, and a bunch of other shit. I hope players listen to this video.

i almost dropped reverie but then it suddenly "got good" not amazing but the second half is much more appealing to me. it is also very much a epilogue game so there's just bits of the game meant to waste your time (similar to golden saucer in ff7 as an example)

The lead into Daybreak is there but minimal .

Also just putting it out there C is easily the best part of that game.

That bit from a Star_ VOD (that I've never seen) at the end hits pretty hard for me. I watched a lot of his videos back in the day when TF2 was at that "Prime" between 2011-2016. He was one of the biggest tf2 youtubers at that point in time and was also pretty competitive focused, too. So hearing the comp players that he liked fucked with him behind the scenes (either outright griefing him, calling him shit for not helping their cause (being promoting comp-tf2 through his videos) or when he actually carried the fuck out of his comp-shitter teams they'd cope about it) because he laid out the facts about comp tf2 not being as popular as regular ol' vanilla-fuck-around tf2 is pretty, I don't know how to say it other than Eye-opening? No fucking wonder he ditched the game for Overwatch after Compshitters & Valve killed the game with the MYM update.
