The only thing they showed off after the last delay was a fucking flip animation, thinking that would save their garbage game from bombing.Speaking of Ubisoft.
They must have saw everyone still trashing their game in the responses and thought "oh no, delay it again!". They were hoping for a February release to ride Black History Month retardation but now they're up against Kingdom Come 2 and Monster Hunter Wilds in February while there's a PC release of FF Rebirth at the end of the January. Kingdom Come 2 in particular is apparently killing it for preorders, so Ubisoft is scared to release next to them. They might just be delaying this game indefinitely until they can sell the company. They really don't want a repeat of Star Wars Outlaws.

Doesn't matter how much they delay it when they really should have made this game ten years ago and without trying to tell people that the black baggage handler was actually a samurai.
I wonder if they dropped the Samurai game 10 years ago with Yasuke being a major side character ala Leonardo it wouldnt have been as mocked as now
Yeah, there's nothing they can do while Yasuke is attached to this game. People will refuse to buy it because they immediately know its woke trash and they can't jettison Yasuke without the PR loss (which honestly doesn't mean much). What they should do, if they're clever, is announce that they're removing Yasuke to give him his own game altogether while Naoe is the only playable character for Shadows, then cancel Yasuke's game a few years down the line or just banish it to production hell.

Ten years ago, there were signs of woke ideology about (although it took different names like affirmative action and representation and the like) but people weren't so worried about it in video games because games in general were still pretty good. Yasuke being a major character (not the player character) would have been a bit weird since historically he was a nobody but it would have been a very minor discussion point and overall I think most people would have been pretty happy to play as a male or female Japanese samurai in an AC game.
Surely by March of 2025, people will be super excited to experience the exaggerated swagger of a Black samurai and this won't completely bite us in the ass. -Some French-Canadian retard at Ubisoft (probably).

I wasn't pushing particularly hard, but I decided to try the last two days and see how high I could get. Literally got this on the match overlapping the season ending and leaderboard locking. Made it by ONE FUCKING POINT.

I just wanted that Moon Knight skin and didn't care because it's only season 0, so I hit Gold 3 and then immediately stopped playing ranked until I realized today that it was by "highest achieved rank during the season" and not what you end at. That was me too. And I swear to god I had a harder time getting out of Silver then I did hitting Platinum.
Although I was worried on one of last games - it was the Wakanda Convoy map. I was Magneto, we had a C&D healer, and 4 fucking instalock DPS. I was worried initially but we ended up rolling them pretty handily. A pleaent surprise.

if you are a good player then you will rapidly push out of gold since in general it filters out the children and trolls.

After playing a bit of Season 1, Storm becoming super strong is actually a huge problem as she undoes the Hela and Hawkeye nerfs if she's grouped near them. Storm might just become meta just like Hulk is because of his team-up.
In QP lobbies, Squirrel Girl's ultimate is now actually an exceptional team-killer in tight spaces or any kind of corridors. I imagine in higher level games the nerf to its HP is gonna be brutal and good teams will just focus it quickly, but so far i'm having a blast.
Another half ass remake by Forever Dogshit Entertainment, just emulate the Wii version that has the original 2 and 3.

I thought the reception to their terrible remake of HOTD1 would have discouraged them. The sheer audacity in doing the same shit again with just a different skin and 'ironic' bad voice acting. Who the hell is the audience for this slop?
