I assume that they handle the whole uploading clips, description and titles and all that crap. In some rare case I would assume they handle merch and sponsorships. For all intents and purposes I could probably be a manager given how some of these monkeys seem to act on Twitter.

I also think that in Sayu's case, her perception of a Manager might be fundamentally warped by her experience in Niji, with her going too far the other way.

I thought managers are supposed to be the voice of reason for their clients and get them to calm down, take a step back and just let things settle in situations like this. How silly of me. Clearly what they should be doing is having fights in the twitter comments proving how rational they are, then hiding the whole thing when they get embarrassed. I just hope his shit doesn't cause issues for Chibi because I enjoy watching her youtube videos and it's clear she has enough glorious retardation going on already and doesn't need his as well.
A good manager is not really going to be noticed very often, because their role is to play behind-the-scenes support for the talents.
What a manager will do depends on what the chuuba wants from their manager and, for corpo talents, what level of support a company gives its talents. Stuff a manager might do includes reading and filtering emails, offering content suggestions and how talents might improve their content, sending business emails for the talent, looking for sponsorship opportunities, arranging convention presence, sorting out merchandise, long-term schedule planning, offering objective public relations advice, and so forth. If you have someone prone to detrimental behaviour, a manager might also monitor content, pulling the plug and limiting the social media presence if necessary. There's also going to be a lot of bespoke problem-solving a manager is going to do if the talent can't solve the problem themselves. For example, Pippa wasn't able to organize her passport to get to Japan, so her manager, Muumi, flew out to Pippa, then flew with Pippa to San Francisco to help Pippa organize her passport and travel to Japan.
So, basically, they're going to be doing the exact opposite of what Kenji's manager is doing.
