Lottie will be away for a while to take care of her dad. And the part about being a bit burned out with Lottie... Yeah, you just need to compare her Twitter timeline with Lazuli's, where she averages about a sketch per day and talks about how much the character stimulates her creative spark. Even when she streams she's been toning down the Lottie-isms like "a lotl", I think she's already mentally checking out of the character.

Similar from Chio in her member streams. She’s grinding hard at putting together her alt (Rebbi Rompin), and said she was warned by management to not be so overt about trying to redirect people to her new persona. Raki has hinted at being stressed out about whatever is going on in member streams and twitter spaces.

So something clearly is happening, but they’re all being pretty mum.

This doesn't paint Chio in the greatest light, shitting on her fanbase (her PL's too) to what I assume is a discord inner circle (since her official one is just for notifs). Now this would be a drop in the bucket if we looked at the vtuber scene as a whole, but what makes this pretty sour to me is that she's face of pixellink's self-implosion and received a lot of support for it. So far her "tards" have contributed:

• An entire vtuber model (I can't find a way to view the cost but I assume thousands)
• $649 3DIO
• $549 metaquest VR headset
• ~$500 towards an ongoing asset goal of around $1000
• $150 Elgato Stream Deck
• Plus tons of small gifts here

Am I crazy in thinking a community willing to drop 2k at a moment's notice would constitute a "fun, loving, teasing audience"? I did a bit of digging just to see if there was anything that would warrant this remark.

Now some of those throne purchases were by a small handful of whales that could have been in her discord, but the vtuber model had 30 independent contributors listed so there's a good chance the pool of her supporters is outside of it, which gives her less cause to lash at her own. Maybe she's just referring to just a few schizos in her community, right? She has recently mentioned having to dish out bans in a recent YT post, maybe we're lacking some context? But the wording of her last two comments seem to be all-encompassing of her fanbase, I don't know how else you could interpret it.

She IS a loli which can attract the worst kind of assholes, so I did some due diligence and checked a handful of her popular streams and the most recent one (I ignored ASMR because you know exactly what sort of tourists that brings), clicked through the timeline and read snippets of her chat and went through the comments. The result? Very tame. A couple of unfunny jokes, some sensible backseating, decent comments, she replies every so often too. I don't even think I saw single crying emoji, so it's not like she was surrounded by uohfags like Yuko was, so the only conclusion I can come to is she is thoughtlessly hyperbolic and this screenshot captured her at the worst time, or she's disappointingly twofaced. Shame since I thought the pixellink girls were mostly well-regarded.

This goes for many vtubers: if there was something that genuinely bothers you in your community, it won't go away unless you address it. Indulging in a bitchfest behind the scenes is unhealthy and awful treatment of fans. Riding the storm just because you're afraid to lose supporters is no way to live, at that point just suck silicone ears on Fansly for the bigger profit margin. Look at how Kiara tardwrangled bottom left memes; an excessive emotional outburst but very clear and overnight it was dropped by her fanbase. A good community will understand reasonable boundaries, even if they're having fun. A good fan wants to have fun with you, not at your expense.

In short: there's little evidence that her community is full of tards and this comes off as incredibly ungrateful.

The saddest part is that it's completely uncalled for too because the few yaps I listened to mostly consisted of normal day-to-day stuff, nostalgia and games, nothing off-color that would cause her to cultivate a bad audience or inflict existential shame once the camera is off, her gameplay commentary was clean too. I actually left with a better impression than I had going in. This leak is really confusing. Neither side seems bad here. Maybe I have staggeringly bad sample selection and some Chio regulars can confirm this behavior lines up or is justified?

Just be wary giving her something akin to Doki status if she does strike out from Pixel, if it's not dead by the end of Feb.

Yeah, I've seen Gandy in Raki's chat and never in any other Pixel's. I've literally never seen him in Chio's chat, and on the fan server he only ever chats in the Raki channel (one of the most usual regulars according to search function) unless he's posting Raki fanart in the fanart channel, definitely weird that he's openly chatting with Rebbi as if he were in her inner circle, and fishing for a mod position.

And courting BooBros as potential fans after she leaves (which it's becoming clearer she wants to do) could never end badly, right?

Though honestly? Considering that one PL ASMR diaper video Proctor posted on Brave last weekend, their tastes might be right up her alley. If I had to guess, Pixel management probably forced her to tune down the degeneracy a little (and she's still fairly degenerate)

I'll say, it's also kind of ironic (and hypocritical) she goes for a loli model and childish voice, humor and manner of speaking (doing so in all 3 incarnations of her that we know of) and then turns around to complain she pulls in the exact kind of audience that those traits breed.
