Hazbin and Hell'uva had a lot of potential but the writing is utter shit.

I like the original Hazbin pilot. They took forever to follow-up. Heard they remade it for the first episode and it's apparently totally different and terrible now?

Hell'uva started off good, then started to get weak and I dropped it. Not sure where it's at now.

I'm gonna say it; Vivziepop is a really good artist and animator, and her character designs are very unique. The biggest problem with her shows is that it's all undone by the fact she is an atrocious writer.

If she did art and animation for someone else's story it'd be fantastic.

It was a bit clumsy and over the top, but it had the right idea.

They did not, The pilot is still canon in-universe, first episode starts off post-pilot, but because they don't acknowledge the pilot in the official amazon release, most people will have watched the show without even knowing of the pilot, making it necessary for the first episode to to introductions of characters...again. Only now way faster and even more clumsily, because they actually have a plot they need to get to.

It's...not great. Idk if i'd describe it as terrible, but the pacing is fucking atrocious, which leaves very little room for the character moments.
