Pokémon XD and those Game Boy Player discs are surprisingly hard to come by these days. There are homebrew versions of the latter that run GBA games better than the official ones, which amuses me.

On one hand, I like this, on the other, why Pokemon Yellow and not Blue or Red?

Yellow's fun, even if the game just handing you all the starters during typical gameplay is kind of broken.

I've had that Pokemon Yellow cartridge since I was a child and the battery still hasn't required a change somehow. That's probably my most sentimental thing. Most expensive is probably that GB Player disc alongside the Gamecube & extension itself, apparently it's all like several hundred bucks alone now or some shit. In-box Black 2 & XD are probably the most valuable otherwise, they're really expensive for some reason. Same with Soul Silver, which even without the box like me, it's apparently like $100. The thing that surprised me the most, though, was looking up the price of Shadow-the-fucking-Hedgehog and seeing it go for $80 even without the case on Ebay, so I put it in this picture too.

Glad I was actually able to watch the entire stream. Was really good and Pippa should, as I said earlier, do more google slide presentation streams. They allow for great tangents, especially if Pippa is angry. Of course I must say about the end of the stream, fuck the old games market. Fuck the old hardware market. Black 2 is gen5 and is regarded in recent times as "last really good underrated generation before gen6 onward shit the bed" so it goes for big prices because of that.
XD is likewise the same but it has value for collectors because you can use it to legitimately get the Earth & World Ribbons from gen3 from it. Don't know if that's the only reason though and also I'm pretty sure the only Pokemon that can get all ribbons as of SV is Scizor from an E-reader Colosseum promo.
