The Switch was and is heavily underpowered even for modern gaming because Nintendo got the TEGRA chips for next to nothing from Nvidia, the TEGRA was a chip that was only used for the Nvidia shield (a tablet) and their smart tv box thingy, the reason the Deck and everyone else destroy the Switch completely is because AMD s king in the mobile chipsets market including APUs

They've come really far in the past few years. You can get something that'll play everything through Gamecube for like $50 with a good screen and decent controls.
