She seems to be trying to filter her audience. Its a shame because I think she is entertaining when she isn't randomly dropping in comments about gays & weirdos & health care & mean people online.
She has been playing this since a while ago. It's the usual dating sim where every other vtuber would have gone for the lesbo performance to seem non-threatening and not alienate their cuckmale audience of simps but Clara went hard into the male on male gay. There's no pretending it's an accident and this sort of thing is what she has done all along for her version of "not like other girls". Before her election-related roommate spergout, she was already doing these things. I mentioned it before but her Grease stream is THE Clara stream. Both because it's her at her best but also somewhat poisoned with a lot of offhand, pointless, "teaching you" commentary. Like she changes the lines in her version of Grease to be less 50s-morality even though Grease is already about how the dumb kids question tradition. The whole B plot of Grease is a slutty chick gets teen pregnant and her reputation suffers (deservedly) and Clara HATES that and seethes about it rather than thinking "this is an ancient play about a time that was old even when the play was written". She really thinks she is all "conventionality belongs to yesterday" while being 100000% about current-year conventionality. Yet she thinks she is fighting some battle and is absolutely convincing herself that she has infiltrated vtubing and will "fix" it from the inside or some shit, like a troon discord mod trying to post on 4chan.
Lots of westoid women learning lately that they are now the past, didn't keep up with the times, and have become the very embodiment of and enforcers of tired, outdated, out of touch conventionality. They became the repressive, stifling, old guard. The election is just the most obvious signal of that and one which these girls (and weakling numales) cannot cope with.
Whether you watch Clara depends on whether you can overlook these little moments and jabs of hers to enjoy her singing and objectively talented performances. For me, it became like watching Hollywood movies. I no longer tolerate being "fixed" by my moral inferiors let alone giving them my time or money to do so. This is why I would watch Lia spaz out about loving gay men sex but not Clara doing the same. Lia is just a freak, she is not trying to "deprogram" me. Clara thinks she is, and there's no way around that fact.

I don't know if Clara is trying to fix or filter her chat, or both. I can tolerate her because I just consider it mostly normal woman takes. The gay references seem a little off though when she makes them. I think she's like a closet hetero sexual who's trying to cope with also hating men. Or she could be trying to educate us. If you want to spread Gay tolerance, asking chat if they would be the inside of a Loki sandwich is NOT the way to start.
