But really, anyone who is anyone who has been online for long enough and achieved any notoriety receives death threats and worse slonder. I'm a nobody and there's still someone who seethed about me for almost a year on a splinter site trying to call me a pedo, and I have no idea what I ever did to this person.
You could counter with the suggestion that tweets like these probably generate decent optics for people who don't hate her already/don't know much about her.

I'll bet Pippa didn't even know that Happydog was in the middle of some retarded bullshit on twitter. All she saw was someone getting harrassed, and her name was mentioned (that would be how she found the tweet) and said she'd help because that's the sort of person she is.
Part of me thinks she's asking for proof of it in the most womanly and passive aggressive way possible, on the other hand, it's Pippa and she gives way too many bad actors the benefit of the doubt. Even so, she shouldn't engage at all with these people, ever.
"A creator standing up against harassment by his fanbase" is a good public image no matter how shallow and insincere(since anyone with half a brain knows that creators rarely control/direct their audience members to do that) it is.
And in Pippa's case, the sentiment itself is most likely 100% genuine, not that anyone who hates her by default would care.
