Okay Runie is mostly functional and well-adjusted. Out of everyone in Phase, her, Loki and probably Nasa come closest to stable, the way i see it. Airi could probably be at the peak of stability, but her life is never-ending suffering so she doesn't get any chances.

Phase Connect has always had a few artists that like to post controversial, degenerate or distasteful memes involving the talents. Hell, Famous Artist Pipkun is a forum regular. What will happen is that another meme will come along and "sad bee watching Shiina get some" will pass for the next meme, whatever form that takes, and will largely fade from memory, just like the Runie confession meme did.
I'd struggle to call it a Phase L, even with the very low standards we've set for this thread. A lot of the audience and people on here enjoy the controversial memes involving the talents and that's part of the reason why they're fans of Phase Connect over other talents. The talents have handled it well, as httn pointed out, so no "L" there. There are a few disgruntled fans, but surely we need more than that to claim an actual L exists here.
I'm less worried about the talents themselves and more about the apparent gatekeeping(throwback to the gumicord and fanartists microdrama mentioned a few days back and the schizo melting over Lumi liking Pupi's art) - which i personally have had pretty much no idea about since here is pretty much the only place i engage in vtuber-discussion in and which actually has the potential to detrimentally impact the talents.
Phase girls, for the most part, aren't in positions where gatekeeping is healthy for them long-term.
Phase Connect fans are known as Phasecucks to other fanbases they are probably sensitive to it
There's always attempts to gatekeep in fandoms or people trying to proclaim superiority - it might be based on how long they've been a fan for, how much expertise they can demonstrate, or how much money they've spent as a fan. Unless this starts to interfere with content I wouldn't be overly concerned about this.
