I've come around to the idea that something was fucky wucky about the whole thing on PC's side and their hands aren't entirely clean but I won't even try to guess how exactly. I hope we hear the full story some day but I won't keep the light on for it.

The only issue is that Yuri lost the rights to her character and model, which was not a good look at the time. However, Yuri had no problem with the arrangement when Sakana negotiated her initial contract. Still, I'm glad Phase has changed how they handle Invaders IPs after to avoid any future potential optics issues there.

Given Yuri's pursuit to purposely stagnate her growth and subsequent rebrand from Nano to Kiba I have a feeling she wasn't attached to the the Yuri model anymore than she seems to be attached to any of her brandings which is to say not at all

She was supportive of phase when they where getting fucked over by offkai so she doesn't hate phase as a whole even though they booted her ass. She hangs out with the cherry fox that is best friends with Pippa so they would have to be on okay terms.

Yeah her backing phase against offkai did wonders to make me believe that whatever she did to get fired she holds no hard feelings about the punishment

I feel like in the interests of not shitting on literally everyone (only the vast majority of people), I have never heard a bad word spoken about Shiina, Panko or Airi. In fact, everyone I've ever spoken to who has also interacted with Shiina says she's a lovely person and strenuously defends her from any accusations or hints of her being part of any problems in Phase.

Yeah, this isn't on. If it were just once then I'd assume it was a bit of light ribbing since Pippa brainworming over responding to messages is well known at this point, but the fact it's happened multiple times comes off as unprofessional, and is great rrat fuel.

There is a genuine possibility that the woman manager problem @The Proctor was talking about the other day is at fault here. Women are far more likely to be conflict-averse than men, so if there is an actual reason Pippa's not responding to Lumi beyond the usual brain hort, having a woman manager playing middleman won't achieve anything if the manager is just as quick to quietly avoid an argument that could cause hurt feelings as the talents involved are.

It's a tough situation to be in because a man's practical skills are a much better fit for management positions than a woman's emotional skills, but in this industry it would be nigh on impossible to find a man who is qualified for the job, willing to accept a lower salary than his skillset could earn him elsewhere, and isn't interested in working with a group of insecure and vulnerable young women for the wrong reasons.

It needs a firmer hand then on those managers perhaps. I think fishman needs a No.2 to act as the drill sergeant. Someone who is feared and respected rather than liked who can be used to whip the lower management for dawdling on these sorts of issues and hold them accountable.

Edit: Maybe when Phase reaches a critical scale they can afford that.

From my experience getting dms from other female vtubers is super rare and it's at most just pussy footing around by sending memes to try and break the ice.
Now what you actually have to worry about is autistic guys trying to work with you or be your friend. 90% of my dms come from that and the best way to deal with them is too not reply. I don't need to breed a super schizo because I told them "no sorry"

But I had some very long conversations with a vtuber manager who used to be an e-sports manager, and he said that after working for and interacting with names like Team Liquid and FaZe Clan, vtuber menhera was very easy by comparison. He did emphasize that the pay drop made it much more of a hobby thing than any sort of replacement, which he only got into after becoming financially successful elsewhere.

Lol yeah, she very recently was like I've given up on trying to collab with some of the phase girls. Their Yapcast or whatever was also cancelled cause pippa wouldn't respond to her or something. Pippa seems to be friends with Yuri as I think she was also visiting pippa with kirsche and marimari and Yuri whilea back in her nano days revealed someone who she thought was one of her biggest friends had secretly been antiing the whole time. People speculated it was Lumi she was referencing. So my rrat is on top of being a shitty communicator in general pippa isn't a fan of the lemon woman in general.
