There's just no PR win for them in this because they can't just not punish Twisty for saying shit that was in her contract to a third party. But if they do punish her it'll be interpreted as them shielding a sexpest. There is no way Niji can actually get a win from this.

As much as we like to see those leaks it is still a breach of contract at the end of the day and NDA so most corpos would rather stay away from a potential risk than low-ball it and get a wildcard that they dont know what kind of repercussions it will bring to their bunch

Once again, Nijisanji has managed to fail what should be a very simple test. They've learned nothing from the Selen debacle and they'll learn nothing from this too. The people in charge clearly believe they've done nothing wrong, despite their talents queuing up to graduate, the company having no growth, and a reputation in the toilet outside of Japan.

Honestly it's a coinflip if Aster is also shitcanned, but the bright side of Twisty's stealth termination is that there's no chance of her being forced to stream with Aster as part of the Nijisanji humiliation ritual, it will only be the list of trumped up charges. I did think before that there might be plausible reasons for her to take a hiatus during the investigation aside from just a suspension. With antis breathing down her neck and her future in the company unclear, she might have just decided to take a step back until there is a company statement or the investigation has concluded.
