You know, Black Companies in Japan have existed for so long, but aren't always talked about for fear of people in Japan being arrested because of Article 230, Paragraph 1. Nijisanji's scandal just may have made people outside of Japan aware of their existence, and I'm glad for it to happen.

One thing I don't like about this scandal, however, is that I've seen a lot of twitter troons who talk about how bad Nijisanji is have pronouns in their bio. I fear that they may use the scandal to further their socialist/communist agenda. I hope it doesn't.

Yes, I do. Niji JP has had their missteps, but nothing near as bad as this. This is a colossal shitshow and Nijisanji is at risk of losing 20% of their revenue total over it.

By the looks of how the pro-talent anti-company twitter users are, they seem on the surface level, adamant enough to buy little to no merch from the company and support the livers via streamlabs, supas, and buying VPs. The revenue hit for at least the English speaking side of the fans will happen and would be apparent (I fucking hope its apparent) in their next next quarterly revenue report. Let's hope that they don't pull a "japanese speaking fans stopped watching and moved on to japanese speaking livers" bullshit of an excuse.

Some people in EN were getting shafted hard by management. Pomu, Nina, and Mysta all quit over this and Selen was forced out. The most obvious thing to me is that there is likely a schism between the livers around people who like the status quo because they had it easy and those that had a hard time getting shit done. Zaion rocked the boat, is my guess. That exposed the company's management and the issue just compounded from there. The fact none of the livers that left spoke commutable Japanese also makes me think management leaned towards the JP speaking talents since they found them easier to deal with.

I think Mysta leaving was more of not shafted by management but more Niji style of vtubing wasn't aligning with what he wanted to do, you see him as Kuro doing more react stuff and an irl face cam stream. Plus his association with his time in Niji was more turmoil (doxxing, some crazies even trying to contact his mom, weird fucking fans) so he wanted a fresh start, stricter rules and all that.

Yeah Mysta was a part of Luxiem or as Sayu calls them Luxiemsanji its likely he was one of the ones getting favoritism however he had other issues like those above
