If Riku cares about one thing, it's money. They clearly spent money on an actual PR person for his video, and the audience for that was clearly shareholders, rather than the general public.

Elira's shitshow was clearly aimed at the public and fans and if anyone wrote it, it was the sentient dumpster fire that is managing EN. Nobody with any PR experience touched that, if they had, they would have told them to sit in silence for 15 minutes instead.

The revenue isn't exactly linear from month to month, especially with high levels of parasocialism. I don't think I would be wrong in saying that g/bfe streamers easily make third of their income for the year on valentine alone. It will be a huge strain on the EN branch income, that will keep coming in at later dates. First, there is zero streams during the prime farm time therefore zero superchats. Then they will have to shove somewhere in accounting that they sold no merch either. Then they will also have to spread to the next report writing off all the money they spent on preproduction. As they get less money, the company will be unwilling to spend more money, thus drying out the revenue sources even further

I legitimately think one of the dysfunctions that is happening right now is the language barrier between upper Japanese management and English managers, causing a retarded game of telephone.
