I am going to do an end-of-year stream on the 30th of December. If anyone would like to make a nice thumbnail for it, DM me. I can pay in a free title, advertisement, or filthy lucre - I can actually do this now as PayPal has finally recognized my business account.
Today im bringing some news from Rplay, the company/agency/website that specialize in lewd content. a vtuber named cuppofcocoa had some trouble recently after they decided to broke their contract with her (Archive). Cuppofcocoa shared the contract (Archive) pubicly on twitter.
So, what has she done to get terminated ? Well not much, there wasnt a breach of contract. They just felt that she didnt care as much as them.
archive
She claimed they added additional reguirements (Archive) after the contract was signed. She also claim on the same tweet that she had no obligation to stream until she received her L2d model.
Important to note that they did not yet aknowledge the situation publicly. probably not big enough yet to care . They also dont have any kind of TOS on their website. They just go with the flow i guess. Here is an example :
In good fashion, instead of acting as a professionnal company, they just block people on social media.
Archive
Rplay staff has even been messaging her close friends (Archive) on the platform that were not involved in the situation. Disclaimer, there might be some missing context on these screenshots
Cuppofcocoa seems extremely menhera. she literally might have tweeted like 300+ times since november 19. She seems pretty scared about them having her personal informations(Archive) and not communicating with her. They even banned (Archive) her from the public discord where the contract was signed so she wouldnt have any possibility to see her contract if she didnt had the brain to save it. lol who the fuck shares contracts on discord and not via email.
She made some videos on her fansly explaining the situation, i dont have a fansly account and i wont make one to see it. if anyone would be kind enough to maybe archive them and post them on the thread it would be greatly appreciated.
Here is the fansly account : https://fansly.com/cupofcocoa/posts
Man, i dont understand how people will still join companies like that with THAT MUCH red flags. this is the 2nd time there is a drama concerning them in like 2 months and i probably missed some key info but like i said she tweeted an enormous amount of times in the past few days.
Thanks for sharing. I thought of DMing about an interview (I still need a guest for Friday) but when scrolling through War and Peace on her feed I just happened to stop on this tweet where she asks for no more DMs on the topic.
Do we need a section called "Killed by Menhara"? Because I don't think any of these companies are going down due to the business not working, from a structural level.

Really curious what happened here with regards to "exploting their offerings", looks like most of the content creators on RPlay have tons of alternate platforms, and it seems to be A-OK to upload the same content in several places. RPLAY seems to want exclusivity on new stuff, maybe therein lies the rub?
Anyway, I got you covered. Made a throwaway to scrape them, although these look like I could have gotten them from Twitch a little easier. Everything related should be here: https://mega.nz/folder/Qe90FJ4L#4AKk8WYlzDgagOnl3diuuA
Shitty summary of the messaging in the six minute video, which shows a discord chat with Cocoa and two RPLAY reps. Bolded stuff that I found especially relevant or interesting, I don't have it in me to go through the videos right now. Nowhere at least in this chat do they really tell her off for anything, and the tone is positive and cordial throughout.
00:00: Representative lists requirements they have of her, including expecting she promotes RPLAY while streaming elsewhere
00:35: Starts off with RPLAY representative discusses getting her NSFW model commission underway, asks for some details on her wishes for the model, toggles etc.
00:57: Rep asks what kind of ASMR mic she wants, mention how supportive and cool and awesome RPLAY is
01:09: Mentions they'll have remote tech support for mic setup, links what model it'll be 02:19: Allowed to upload content she's made elsewhere, but RPLAY wants future content, especially NSFW, to be exclusive. Also, mentions that the previously mentioned new model would transfer ownership after two years of partnership.
02:37: Rep mentions dual streaming is fine (note that they walk it back later)
03:07: Unrelated but interesting quote when asked about IRL facecam, paraphrased: no facecam on RPLAY, because it makes a shitload more money when streamers use a vtuber avatar instead.
03:25: Rep walks back the dual streaming thing. Cocoa says Fansly will be the main platform until the model comes in, rep OKs this. Rep asks if Cocoa can steam on RPLAY as well, Cocoa's answer is basically "maybe im really busy"
04:53: Rep and Cocoa discuss what seems to have been a misunderstanding on the RPLAY side: She did not have an existing NSFW model, but a SFW one she was OK with using for NSFW stuff. They seem to clear it up and nothing else comes of it.
05:29: Rep asks Cocoa to run damage control for some tweet where someone named Dinah Tyranno got pissy about them targeting male audiences and accusing them of excluding non-female vtubers, and the crypto stuff with the unfortunate name mixup. Tweet seems to be this one, Cocoa's replies here 05:50: Discussion of financial compensation, rep tells they're more interested in supporting them with equipment, models etc than paying salaries. No interest in hiring established coomtubers, but want to get new ones up and running. Cocoa says this seems concerning for people.
I think this is going to spook people from using or at least overly relying on RPLAY pretty hard. Getting ownership of the model after two years sounds nice in theory, but if the company has a history of just telling you to fuck off without reason or recourse, that might be hard to reach. Going through the creators on X, some of them had already publicly dropped RPLAY.

As a minor addendum to the work done already, I'm not sure how much of whatever RPLAY has in terms of her remaining dox even matters.
I can confirm that her IRL NSFW content shows her face, at high enough resolution no less (if you know where to look, you know). It seems she also has a boyfriend, based on a heads-up I was given (confirmed, has seggs with a guy in several vids it looks like). So this definitely has more e-girl aspects than normal (?). There's a ton of potential for drama due to all the talents seemingly being whores of some type. lol

I'm not sure exactly where you stop being a mere e-girl and start just being a porn star but I'm definitely sure straight-up penetrative sex on camera is past that point.
