It's not so much as a simple Doctor's visit will assist Pippa, but rather a complete overhaul of her everyday behaviors - which, as I have said before, is not something that can happen overnight. The Doctor can help nail down specifics, like what vitamins she's lacking, or how best to perform a light exercise routine with her leg issues, but at the end of the day it has to be a conscious and continuous choice on her end to improve her habits while she's still young.
