Yea, you can set it so it shows up like you do, but by default it just hard reboots and (if you're lucky) puts a log file in c:\windows\minidump. Makes me wish I had a way to DM her and get a hold of her as I could probably walk her through what to do to assess the problem, if not fix this.

I was going to continue with a snarky remark, but I will have faith in her. She's going to get a little sleep (not much, maybe 4 hours) in preparation to spend her time fixing her PC. and if she can't fix it she's going to start prepping a back up pc in the meantime
