I appreciate Xynchro for his edits before I decided to commit to watching every stream in it's entirety live. But holy shit I didn't realize how much of a femboy this guy was. How did he become a Pippa fan without getting completely triggered by her. I might have to become an anti.

Honestly, I'd argue Pippa brought a resurgence to the small corpo vTuber sphere. Most of them seemed floundering due to Hololive, Nijisanji, and vShojo stealing a majority of the viewers til about mid 2022. Rin is zooming because Pippa paved the way for the audience to come back to the small corpo world.

Pippa brought in a lot of people who aren't vtuber fans which helped as well, but really her big thing was just being different from what feels like a very stagnant sector prior.

Pretty much the same reason Rin is doing so well. She's also extremely unique in the vtuber space, by being both British AND likeable. And her lightning-fast brain that only works for putting together jokes and shitposts and nothing else.

I was originally brought to Phase Connect because of a company pre-debut rrat that KSON would have been reincarnated as one of the Gen 1 members (specifically, Nasa)

obviously, that didn't happen, but I've watched Pippa ever since because her debut was the only one that drew me in (out of the Gen 1 debut streams)
